I've been playing through the game with no problems and then today I get home from work
and I have something pop up after selecting "play" from the launcher.
"A required security module cannot be activated.This program cannot be executed (5002)."
EA Support cannot help with this. You're my last hope forum!! D:

sounds like a corrupted file, first stop reinstall the game.

I'm experiencing this too.
I don't understand why we legal buyers of the game suffer while the pirates just hack on through and play a superior product on day 1. This is frustrating because I'm already having enough trouble playing the game for any significant period of time as is. I really don't like being "that guy" and all, but sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. This copyright scheme is entirely ridiculous. Is there any chance of a patch to remove this? It's not unprecedented. The Witcher's team released patches to remove the protection from both of their games.
