This is acually pretty tasteful. Yes, yes, magical pants, but that's not what's important, and at least we avoid the silly dry humping of Origins and ME2. Only complaint I can see here is that it,s two men doing it; somwhow I very strongly doubt OP would be so up in arms with a M/F scene, or even lesbian scene.
