Eh, I liked the opening of it, but the trailer could have been better.

Well i was expecting such a short trailer This is only the first.
But even this shows a lot, its all ingame graphics (wtf about consoles?) free run on trees, kill on the run and large scale battles.

I hope they ll release a trailer like previous games or a live action trailer.
And a full combat preview pretty please

Edit: just read that this is one of the things they're trying to avoid so hopefully nothing to worry about there

 Not all the Colonists will be cast as good people, and not all the British will be cast as evil oppressors. They're trying to focus on how both the Assassins and Templars viewpoints exist in a gray morality as the Templars really believe they're saving the world.

I wonder if we had a companion pet in this game.
As half native american i think we need have some permanent wild friend. A wolf, an eagle or maybe a horse?

I don't know what to think of this game yet, I love the nature scene where you will play most of the game in (and the fact that you can climb in trees, the one thing you could never climb into:P) but I don't like the fact that it has to be in America...
Italy and Constantinople were interesting because most people don't know a lot about it, while we are trown to dead by American history (even in The Netherlands)..

Also when picking up ME3 the guy told me that Gamestop is doing the steel case too. My GT is on another account. That's why ME3 aint registered

I agree about the soldiers not shooting Connor for some reason but why hate this game? If you think it's going to have too much American jingoism, just remember that this game is being made by Canadian developers.

As much as I hate to say this, Canada has about as much culture as a plate of poutine and a Molson Canadian for breakfast. It is very probable its going to be very PRO-USA, and demonize The British Empire, because we all know YYYYYYOOUUUU-BEE-SOFT is actually a french developer, France originally (although AC came from Montreal, which again was a french colonist occupied region which held a grudge against the British, and still does to a degree with some people).

I was hoping that the new Assassin's Creed games would be set in Japan but this setting looks interesting enough.
