Course if every bad guy and every naughty, naughty, naughty evil Templar has a British accent (or more specifically, varying degrees of Southern and/or Upper class English accents) I might wait until its cheap. Its getting more then a bit repetitive.
But still I'm interested to see what news is released about AC3 on Monday though, been following AC pretty much since the first game.

I'm thinking it's possible he is a descendant of Ezio from Europe who went to the New World to fight the British Templars and then he winds up with a Native American tribe and becomes engrained in their culture like Kevin Costner from Dances With Wolves, what do you guys think?

I don't get it, why are the assassins on the side of the Americans in this game? I figured they'd be with the British. Aren't the founding fathers Templar in the Assassin's creed mythos?
I don't remember if they've touched on the founding fathers or not. The story of the American Templars doesn't really pick up until the late 19th century.

Still George Washington & Friends are all freemasons irl, in Assassin's creed they're just another component of the greater templar conspiracy.TheBlackBaron wrote...

But so was the English crown and the colonists. George Washington is a Templar and a few other founding fathers, but two different time periods.

Maybe the main character is not a Native American.

It would be more than 200 years after Ezio's time. It's more than plausible that his children traveled and married into an American chapter of the Brotherhood. If they try and pull a "white man living among natives" story, I'll be pissed. Cultural differences and practices of those cultures were central to the characters so far. I liked the idea that Altair was an Arab in the eleventh century and combating against what seemed like the Christian good guys, only to learn that both factions were in competition for power.
Removing the cultural aspects from the main character is a bad move, since they've always relied heavily on it to paint the character and the world around him. If he's Native American, which seems to be the case, he should be Native American.

Maybe. It's been a while since I played AC2, which is where most of this got explained, so I don't precisely remember what groups are just fronts for the Templars and which aren't. As android pointed out, the Crown is controlled by the Templars as well, so...who knows?

What's the Point of AC's MP?
To run full speed to the arrow that is showing you where your mark is hiding, then use Templar vision.
I have never felt it took much skill to play AC MP,or that you consider MP kills assassinations,is just a joke to me.
But that's just my opinion. My good friend loves the game, and I tell him the same.
I'm uh "Boycotting" AC,and will not buy it. LOL.

I used to be an Assassin, but then I took an arrow to the knee.
Skyrim in Assassin's Creed is over the top.

How in the Hell can the main character be a native American?
Mixed ancestry.
How does Ubisoft make so many Assassin's Creed games so quickly? Assassin's Creed Revelations just came out last November for Pete's sakes and now we're getting a sequel less than a year later?
The games are made by 3 or 4 different studios at once.

assassins creed 3 has been in development since AC 2 came out, its a different team then the one that made bortherhood and revelations
Nonetheless, the vast majority of the mechanics will be (beyond a reasonable doubt) identical to the predessors. The new stuff will mainly be visuals.
The GI article said the game is being built from the ground up, it will be different from the other games in many ways.

There's a big possibility that the two have a unified origin. They are the only two groups who are aware of "the truth," of Adam and Eve, The Garden, The pieces of Eden, and they combat one another for supremacy to guide the direction of the world. I think they were once a unified group and broke into two separate factions that becamse the Templars and the Brotherhood.
