Those pictures look fantastic, but my only concern: the angles are tough to notice from, but I'm not seeing a hidden blade on this guy.

Thank you for that. And I am extremely impressed at this point. For anyone who thought that Brotherhood/Revelations were weak in innovation, AC3 is looking to make up for that tenfold.  

They also seem to be setting him up in a style similar to Altair, with his Muslim father and Christian mother. I'm curious how Ratohnake's background compares to Ezio/Altair.

...I'll be sitting on my fence for now. Although it would make the character's story a bit interesting, a biracial guy in English controlled America would have to affect him at some point in this time period.

Ruined a good opportunity if you ask me. The only way to make him interesting now is if one is a defector from the Templars. It's safe to assume one of the parents is born into the Brotherhood.

OMG the more i read the more hype i get...
Changing seasons, dynamic world, an open Frontier area bigger then complete Brotherhood levels 1,5 times!

The image with the deer makes me wonder if this will have a hunting element similar to MGS: Snake Eater in that we need to hunt to keep stamina up.

Also seems the new protagonist's weapons of choice are a bow and a tomahawk, kinda hoping he has a little more of a varied arsenal.

Hidden Blade
Tomahawk
2 Flintlock Pistols
A saber
and the GI article mentioned daggers.
plus we see  Connor using a musket in one of the screen shots

Pelts and stuff play a role in upgrading equipment (Selling them and such). Read that big detail thing ^_^

Ah sounds more familiar to Red Dead then, at least the selling pelts and the like. Other than that I'm liking the look of this game, here's hoping it's a marked improvement on the last games.

i thought the guy looked a bit rubbish in the leaked picture but he looks pretty ****ing awesome here
