After I've spent the past two days reading every post and every page from this thread up to page 212, all my hopes and doubts for the better were crushed. You may think I'm crazy but I say I'm deeply emotionally connected to the immensive great story and characters from ME1-2. BW took heavy risks with these endings, but the prize? Life is too short to pressing on hopes for future DLC and for it to make any possible differences in the outcome. Thank you BW for providing all the wonderful experiences from the past two games in the franchise. I will always remember ME as one of my greatest role-playing experience, and I hope you never lose that touch!
I have no choice but to cancel my ME3 digital CE pre-order. This is not a threat or a joke. This is simply a result of a dissapointed fan and paying customer, perhaps it's something to think about from a marketing perspective. I believe the amount of money and the 100+ hours of my time would be more wisely spent on another game that provides better entertainment value. Life is already a hardship. Please understand that I have little tolerance for a depressed conclusion in a video game, especially that I've spent hundreds of hours in building the best possible outcomes from ME1-2. I thought ME is all about making your choice? Where is my choice for all the hardwork I've done in the past? I believe the majority of fans speak louder than the group of writers-market driven.
Thanks for the wake up call, perhaps it's time to pick up where I left off from Guild Wars (2).

I cancelled mine, the extra gun isn't worth 60 bucks if the ending blows chunk. I will , however lurk on the forums until a few days after release to see if this is all BS. If it is not , i will go my merry way.

I do wish BW and thier employees happiness and rainbows, even though I do not get mine.

It's hard to reply your comment is full of so much emotion that is what every "fan" should feel like if all the choices are taken away of us.

I wish I could say I'm canceling it as well, but I feel too involved not to see how other things turn out, but I will say if this is the ending I will be furious and I will be rating it badly on every site possible. I will never buy a Bioware game again, and will encourage my friends not to as well

I can't cancel my pre-order...tried yesterday...already packaged for shipping...guess I'll decide next Tuesday if I want to try for the refund.

No the "BOYCOTT CUZ A DLC" thing is still in full swing. I'm just adding reasons not to ever buy this garbage. The newest reason is "OMG IS WORSE THAN DA2".

I actually like DA2, or at least that's what I tell myself, whereas I got frustrated with the fighting mechanics and sold the stupid thing and put htat money towards my ME3 CE pre order.

I think it's half your fault if you're ruining the game yourself by reading most of spoilers, leaks and especially the ending without having played it, therefor you're biased from the ending and it leaves an aftertaste knowing the end. 
But the possibility that it would make more sense when you'd actually play and see it for yourself, that might let the endings view in a better way.

Keeping mine, CE will keep good resale value even after using the dlc codes...

From the sounds of it, I won't play it more than once, maybe a half-assed run on another import.

I personally intend to see this through to the end.

Mind you, if it is another naff game then Bioware will have struck out twice recently, first with the half finished DA2...now possibly with ME3. If so, I will be rethinking software house loyalty on the games front....

Let's hope that the game lives up to the past games and lets us have fun along the way.

I wouldn't have a problem with the Normandy ending if Shepard was there with them...it would be bittersweet but still with Garrus (femshep), and Liara (manshep).

I just feel after investing time ever since ME1 was released an ending where Shep gets to walk around the ruins of the glaxey with his/her companions was not to much to ask<_<

Choice does matter you just don't have as much choice as you would have liked, but you still do have choice and it does matter on a galatic level.

So what if the choices you make doen't matter to the end?
You can still control the mid game, like how the game get's from chasing Saren, finding about the extinct Prothean Race and the Reapers to how you defeat them.

Some people just can't stop overreacting because they can't get their own end :facepalm:

I'm purchasing the game with friends (we're each putting in about $10). We're sharing it among ourselves (it's not like any of us are in a rush to play it anymore) and we're not buying any DLC, nor do we intend to purchase any further Bioware products until we've seen a sign of good faith on their part.
