If you're a gay person who's spent the last two games having your romantic choices and desires disregarded you might think differently.  Even lesbian women have had some kind of representation. 

It's not something I'm interested in since my Shepard's are straight, but it's a nice inclusion. What some people seem to be missing is that it's entirely (and very obviously) optional. It doesn't affect them in the slightest if they don't want it to.

I'm a huge supporter of portraying homosexual couples in games and other media. We see enough heterosexual romance in games, it is only fair we paid attention to the other demographic as well. I rarely play gay males - though there have been a few exceptions (who could turn down Zevran? Why ... he is Zevran, is he not?) - though I often play gay female characters and enjoy having this option available to me.

yes, exactly this, it's not the fact that there's a gay scene at all, it's the terrible dialogue.

There's only two choices, instead of 3+, and it is just very low quality, 15 year old girl fan-fic level.

I could think up better stuff than that, being someone who as a small side hobby loves creative writing and reading.
