4) Check the spoiler forum, many people agree that the story is bad.

It's like expecting something non-racist from the KKK.

Why would I ask BSN's opinion lol

Define many because most of the ACTUAL bioware fans agree that this is pretty standard fare and that the game is as awesome as be.

I don't count Haters, armchair writers and idiots to be a good judge of script.

No need to be condescending or moronic while calling other people idiots. Since you've decided who to count as fans and non fans, despite what they say, then you've made up your mind already.

Android: Your point 4 implies that most people don't have terrible opinions. That would be an inaccurate assessment. ^_~

Yes, a lot of people do have bad opinions, like people who claim this was written with depth and intended to promote contemplation about bigger issues.:D

I know, right? Asking the BSN for an unbiased assessment is like asking a monkey not to throw poo. It's just an unreasonable expectation.

Haha, 2 choices for the most of the entire game, gosh. What a disaster. So glad I didn't pre-order this.

Word. This is a wait and see game. Should've pre ordered SSX. That's something EA seemed to get right.

You are still getting the game. Stop whining.

It's not worth pre ordering, especially once you've read the script.

No **** its not. Why the hell would I want to play a game or read a book or watch a movie after I read the pre-final draft.

That's like eating cold hamburger and saying "Well that tasted bad cold, so it has to taste bad hot and fresh."

1) Calm down

2) Calm down some more

3) Your analogy makes no sense.

4) Check the spoiler forum, many people agree that the story is bad.

5) Good gameplay mechanics on a 3rd person shooter isn't worth pre-ordering.

I am calm, superpowers I presume? To be able to recognize my tone in text? Fine by me.

My anaogy does make sense, you read a script which is not final and read the endings without actually expierencing all of the CONTENT from leaving Earth to the end.

No music, no content, no pacing, no characters, etc. You just read text and think "This game is bad, and is not worth getting." Well I agree with you on the second part, why would anyone want to play a game if they have the basic structure and outline and ending of the game? You ruined it for yourself.

I'd argue the ones says this game is completely shallow are poor judges or haven't been paying attention to the series writing at all.

I hate armchair/ametuer writers.

'the majority/most people find this game bad".

That is a misnomer. In fact I'd argue a heavy majority already find this game good; the same will be said of those that play it.

Or by people who understand that, to be well done, a story doesn't have to be exceedingly complex and filled with grey areas. Or people who fail to realize that engendering thought doesn't quite that much work and like to lord their literary "elitism" over others.

But in all seriousness, I'll pass judgement on the game once I actually play it. No clue on the script, because I've purposely avoided it. I just like to tease. And I find both sides of the argument to be pretty silly at times.

HoL: You should hate BAD armchair/amateur writers. Some of us are fairly reasonable about it. <3

That's a misquotation on your part. I said most who've read the spoilers. If you're going to try and claim some intellectual superiority on a video game forum, the least you can do is quote me correctly.

Yup it looks like Bioware are ditching what made them great and becoming another generic FLASHY BANG action game developer. Bioware in steep decline.

I highly doubt that you have any idea what made Bioware great in that pathetic mind of yours.

Reported. Unacceptable personal attack under the new forum rules.

Are you just trying to get people pissed off so you can report them? Because that is sorta what it looks like.

Nope just stating my opinion, but unfortunately if you are not a Biodrone on this board you are seen as scum.

Reported for an unwanted attack.

Who was i attacking? Which person was i referring to? No one in particular at all. Fail by you i am afraid.

You're attacking the whole community.

Nope, just most of it, and i don't see how that is personal at all. However them falsely reporting me is a personal attack and bullying, so i have reported them too.

Threatning people with "reported" is a form of aggresion.

Most moderators/staff will repremand you for doing it. That button isn't there to be you're own personal weapon of intimidation; it's a tool to better the community and help moderate.

I was not 'threatening' anybody, simply letting them know that i have done so. Which is quite kind i might add.

Arguing about the spoilers in a non-spoiler forum seems distinctly pointless. And not on topic to this thread.

Had KOTOR 2 been finished as planned it would have changed video gaming history.

As I said in the other thread, just because I don't want to be a Paragon in that conversation it does not mean I want to be a dick.

In general, I feel like Obsidian has been unfortunate in terms of the rep their games get, which is a shame because alot of the time I feel their writing is even stronger than that found in Bioware games (and Bethesda regarding New Vegas). They also gotta work on their quality control when it comes to bugs.
