Anyone keeping a record of all the tweets/interview quotes from ME3's developers? Post some of them here so the rest of us can relish in the irony/fail. No bad fiction please. Thats found in ME3.

[Will be updated as new lies are unearthed]

  • "As Mass Effect 3 is the end of the planned trilogy, the developers are not constrained by the necessity of allowing the story to diverge, yet also continue into the next chapter. This will result in a story that diverges into wildly different conclusions based on the player's actions in the first two chapters."
LMAO. Yeah. You've got a choice of a red turd, blue turd and green turd, each with 2 variations. How about the folks who aren't interested in turds?

  • "If players achieved a love interest in both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, then both previous love interests will be vying for Shepard's attention in Mass Effect 3."
Attention comprises 3 sentences from each LI, resolved with clicking a choice on the dialogue wheel ONCE. DRAMA!! YOUR CHOICES 'MATTER'!!!

  • "BioWare has confirmed that Mass Effect 3's storyline may change in response to fan feedback. Following a mistakenly-released beta that led to leaked story files, co-founder Greg Zeschuk says that the development team is actively paying attention to fans' input.
  • "We listen to our fans all of the time," Muzyka said. "We listen to them on the forums, their feedback from stories. We're reading it all. If we can get ideas out of it that will make the game better, sure. We're not adverse to taking feedback. That's part of our core values, is humility [Hi Stanley!]. Any time we get a good idea from fans... they're our audience. They keep us in business."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • "We have a really talented team of writers. We go through iteration after iteration, making it the best and most satisfying we can," he said.
  • "It's going to make some people extremely happy. It's going to make some people angry. But that's part of it, right? To invoke the emotion putting some of these stories to bed will naturally bring up.
  • He added: "I honestly think the player base is going to be really happy with the way we've done it. You had a part in it. Every decision you've made will impact how things go. The player's also the architect of what happens."
  • Whether you're happy or angry at the ending, know this: it is an ending. BioWare will not do a "Lost" and leave fans with more questions than answers after finishing the game, Gamble promised.

Player base he's referring to = gay gamers
The ending is LOST. With incest.

Found another one.

"This [ME3] is really the best place to start playing the Mass Effect series, this is the beginning, middle and end of the whole galactic war," - Casey Hudson

"The fundamentals of our economy are strong" - John McCain, September 2008

What about people who actually like the endings and are not really into pixellated girls/boys/hermaphrodites?

You mean you and the two other guys? I don't know. Go form a club and circle jerk maybe.

And I personally find romance in Mass Effect a pointless distraction, though judging from the endings, I'm tempted to gather as many squadmates as I can on the Normandy. Because I want Liara to sexually service all of them for the next 100 years.

C'mon! Really? That sounds rather lame tbh. Makes me wish that they would've spent more time with this game.

I wasn't flaming you, and it's quite futile to troll me. I was asking a question. You know, people who are content with something don't usually post on forums about their support. So yeah, the case can actually be so 'bad' that 300 people from the forums hate the endings and the other 1 499 700 people are satisfied.

But anyway, if you don't like the ending of a book do you start writing a letter to the author? Where's the difference?

This, BioWare producer Mike Gamble told Eurogamer, puts pressure on the team to deliver a satisfying ending.

"We have a really talented team of writers. We go through iteration after iteration, making it the best and most satisfying we can," he said.

"It's going to make some people extremely happy. It's going to make some people angry. But that's part of it, right? To invoke the emotion putting some of these stories to bed will naturally bring up.

He added: "I honestly think the player base is going to be really happy with the way we've done it. You had a part in it. Every decision you've made will impact how things go. The player's also the architect of what happens."

Doesn't surprise me, seems much of the dialog with the crew is like Kasumi/Zaeed.

Really? Well that just extra sucks as character interaction was one of my favorite things.

Keep them. Most of us just want to change one thing: Either have the Normandy crash on Earth or have Shepard be marooned with his/her crew.

It's only like Kasumi/Zaeed if you already talked them once after a main mission. If there is no progression, then they'll say something like "Oh, hey. How about them Reapers?" or something witty.

Yeah, from what I read you get a couple of convos then the rest is like Kasumi/Zaeed. Can't remember what page I seen it though, sorry.

Yes, only when you've already talked to them.

Main Missions (Progression) -> Full Convo -> "I should go". -> Talk immediately after just talking to them -> Kasumi/Zaeed convesations.

I can't find that Casey Hudson tweet where he basically admitted that the 'outdated' leaks were not outdated at all. Saying things about him disappointed that the info was known early etc.

If it would be an additional ending, sure why not? I don't see why couldn't BW make more fans happy.

If I was to make the ending most probably it would be chance based - either you get flinged out to the endless void, or back to Earth or whatever. Makes more sense as well I think. Quantums and all that.

At the 3:00 mark, Hudson states that "[The fans] are worried that we'll take it all away".

Does anyone see a problem with the last word in his sentence? It sounds downright hateful to me.

Mike Gamble:

"We wouldn’t do it any other way. How could you go through all three campaigns playing as your Shepard and then be forced into a bespoke ending that everyone gets? But I can’t say any more than that…"

Ref: http://www.gamezone....fferent-endings

I think people in the Endings discussion would disagree!

Find the one about Mass Effect 3 being more "lighthearted" than ME2.

I think Bioware just became worse than the politicians
