I don't really care anymore about the Vanguard issue. One game I literally just hid behind cover, drank tea and let them do everthing. When they died, I finished off the rest. Easy credits.
"When they died...". You say this as if it was inevitable that a Vanguard will die yet sure if you had helped out a bit they would have survived

Aggressively played Vanguards do have a high statistical chance to face the dirty ground because they're obviously proportionally in the line of fire. Only the very best Vanguards can play aggressively and not die during the whole match, this goes double for Gold difficulty.
That said, the "easy credits" part makes me believe the Vanguards did at least a good enough job, making this more of a compliment than any other sort of comment, at least in my eyes. Though knowing Stardusks skill in playing the game and the likelyhood this game was on silver because only very few people ever on Gold with such a set-up and then not go revive their supposedly known friends does also open up the possibility he simply solo'ed whatever rest was alive and still considered it easy credits.
Can't know for sure.

as long as you're killing people and the mission succeeds I'm a happy man.
This as long as we're working towards the same goal I don't care. If your dting constantly however I will stop rezzing you. It's a pain to run across the map rez someone, then have them die again across the map as if they're just trying to get themselves killed off.

The problem isn't vanguards stealing kills, the problem is vanguards (and krogans) trying to charge Guardians. You can't hurt them with that, jackass, and I had a perfect headshot lined up through the slit of the shield.
If I charge a guardian, it's because there's no other enemy around I can recharge my barriers with, thank you very much. Just wait a second, I'll move aside and turn him around for you.

En contraire my fellow, charging a Guardian on even ground causes them to stagger and bashes their shield to the side. Enough time and space to put one or two shots in on them, a clean headshot from even the Scimitar will turn their heads into chunky salsa and what's left is a very dead Guardian. Now, the Scimitar can get a second shot in, just to make sure. And imagine the result of a Katana or a Claymore shot.
Guardians are perfectly killable by a Vanguard charge, which means my dear fellow, you know squat about Vanguard play.
Just don't try it on uneven ground, because if you don't hit them on even ground, they have a high chance to NOT stagger and just melee you (not that a good Vanguard couldn't exploit that too, but it's suboptimal a choice.
As for Krogans, their melee causes Guardians to stagger too, though the long animation from their heavy melee renders them unable to exploit that openeing. Their standard melee (headbutt) however does also have a very high chance of staggering them and then follow up with an attack, same as the Vanguard charge.
Same as above, don't talk nonsense if you obviously know little enough about the game mechanics.

So sorry to everyone that can’t stand having a high level vanguard on the team that have that certain build. But I have had teammates that Hate sooo much (or just jelly) that they would only shoot at me and ignore the other enemies around us cause he’s mad. When you get downed by enemies near you cause you were too pissed at this vanguard, it’s usually me that comes charging in to save you before they stomp your face in. As a vanguard I play it smart and on bronze I don’t purposely kill steal, but instead I purposely go on a killing massacre, cause that’s how they work on that difficulty (on silver and gold definitely play it smarter). It is boring to solo but on a team, why not go crazy and have a game last less than 15 minutes with 15k credits on bronze. Or about 20 minutes with 36k on silver.

I want to be at the top.
Vanguards get in the way of that.
End of Story. I could give less of a **** about XP sharing. I just want to see my name at the top with my 5 gold medals.

No, Real Infiltrators are Salarian STG and rock a shotgun headshot machine spec and use proximity mines as a grenade launcher with incredible force!

Doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the people who Biotic Charge and then spam Nova into a group of people knowing that they will get a lot of kills but die somewhere stupid as a trade off. I generally as a rule of thumb leave Vanguards to die if they can't channel the aggression of the class properly, either that or hop onto my Krogan Soldier and show the what a REAL charge looks like
There are stupid people tha tplay Krogan's as well, and they die in the same manner.
Anyone, regardless of class, that dies in a place that would risk the team getting wiped in order to raise them gets left for dead. Or they can pop their own medigel. Their call.

I like playing infiltrator. Cloaking is a vital ability, particularly in gold matches, and not just for zipping in and out for damage bonuses. If someone goes down (unless I'm fulfilling an objective), you can guarantee that I'll hit cloak and run like hell to whoever went down to pick them up. I like being able to do that and it's good for the team.
And I totally understand the vanguard mechanic - they will be charging everywhere, and that sometimes they are gonna go down. I don't care. As long as they play well and we win, that's fine with me. I don't know why people get so pissy about ressing others. I get great personal satisfaction out of it. As for kill stealing, it doesn't matter, you'll get the same xp as everyone in the end. It's a TEAM game.
Probably a very rose-tinted view but hey, I'm that kind of infiltrator.
i must agree.
ressing people out of impossible situations is fun.

I've been going crazy(ier than usual) today since the end of the demo is nearing. Charging absolutely crazy groups and just popping Ops kits and medigels and missiles like candy... two atlases and 4 phantoms surrounded by guardians in a group? Charge and missile. Great fun. Time to burn em guys!
Haha same here. i hate to admit, but i've been going vanguard crazy on silver and bronze just to get it out of my system. but recently i noticed they've been getting smarter.. i mean a few games recently when a group of enemies spawned, and assault troopers already placed cooked gernades at their feets before my charge across the map... predicting my moves now i see, smart play AI, smart play...

I worked with a friend who would charge into a group, which often led to several guys moving position to get behind cover, allowing me to pick them off quickly with my sniper rifle.
As for those saying the Infiltrator's cloak is OP, bear in mind it doesn't hide you from Atlas' or Turrets, and won't be anywhere near as useful if an enemy sees you cloaking.
