 I don't really rage at vanguards or anything--for me, it's more just that I don't enjoy playing my infiltrator with vanguards on the team. Good vanguards render me useless, because I can never get in "the zone", so to speak, as 9 times out of 10 my vanguard teammate's head will suddenly appear under my crosshairs where a full-shielded centurian's just was, as I pull the trigger, and I wind up unloading a cloak-buffed mantis X round into my teammate. "Check fire!" FFFFF.

Meanwhile, bad vanguards tend to relegate me to rez pony. I might decide rezzing them is pointless and stop doing so, but then I feel guilty. :/

So all in all, it's not about kill stealing, it's about fun stealing. Sniping with a vanguard on the team just winds up decidedly un-fun for me, and generally makes me look bad because I come in at the bottom of the scoreboard.

So in the full game, without the quick slot breaking bug, whenever I see a vanguard I'll switch to my Asari or Krogan and tag team.
