Part of what made Mass Effect so great was all the possibilities it had between how much power can the Council control, what if a new Krogan uprising happens, what happens if a new Cerberus shows up, and what about a new rachni attack?  What would happen if a relay opened up, and a new threat appeared?  With the endings we get here, it looks like none of that matters anymore.

Indeed, which is f*cking sad and it made me depressed or at least 2 days when I first heard of the ME3 endings.

The spoilers section will die.

The non-spoilers section and romance section will live on while people attempt to find other alternative routes. The MP section will probably thrive for a few weeks and slowly decline as people move on to games with a stronger MP basis.

In a year, I suspect, the tumbleweeds will pack up and leave as well.

I... never thought I would say this, as I'd played ME1 through 7 times, exactly the same without any skipping of dialogue because I honestly loved the story that much, but if these are the real endings. I just won't buy another Bioware game again. It's not a move that is particularly fueled by anything related to DA2 either. In fact I was one of those who really did, and does enjoy DA2, but I feel like the threequels of every trilogy I go through now just falls flat on it's face at the end. I won't deal with it again if Bioware's gonna pull this with DA3.

Honestly, my entire faith in the number 3 is just gone, and I don't even think if given the option I would be willing to play Half Life 2 episode 3 because I feel like they're just gonna hamfist in an ending wherein Gordon becomes a tragic hero, because that's what apparently every writer thinks I want AND IT'S NOT.
