is anyone else having this problem with the 8.5 update? i've seen a few posts in the simsvp forums about it but not sure if it has to do with having a 64-bit OS or with Java-64-bit installed?
does anyone else seeing a little command prompt window appear for half a second and then go away? I see in my process tree Origin.exe appearing and then disappearing 2 seconds later when i try to run it. Yesterday before i updated it ran like a dream... not sure what happened. I know others are having this problem, please post here if you have a solution to this!

Uninstall and reinstall . Normally fixes software issues. Also update all your drivers.

Yeah I used revouninstall to completely remove it, no dice, i've been through 3 different people with origin customer service, must just be my computer hanging on opening the file somehow. just sucks
