But your actions would have consequences for gamers everywhere. That's pretty selfish just so you can get a better ending.

If you feel that strongly cancel the game. That way you send a message of disatisfaction not an open invitation to do the same thing in future titles.

Sure, EA will gladly accept your money for a few extra cutscenes.

Not that, it'll matter - the official endings will remain as they stand.

So any other words you would be willing to pay for a complete game like X-2 to get a better ending. I know the FF fans raged about FFX ending so Square Enix made X-2 for the fans. Look how that turned out now Square Enix is circling the drain in the US and their sales are down 25% and the series just plan suxs now, or you are talking something like the FO3 DLC that was just plan stupid and should have been in the game in the first place, and nobody should have to pay extra for that. Now if BioWare/EA want to release a better ending DLC for there fans it should be for FREE because that is the only way I see it working and not damaging future sales to much.

The alternative, for me at least, is not to buy the game at all. As much as it pains me to do so, I've cancelled my pre-order. I will happily reconsider if the situation improves, but the Raider shotgun isn't worth the risk of an inevitable nonsensical, bulls*** ending.

Seriously...I wouldn't. Because then that will be the new fad. $50-60 for the game...then you have to pay for different endings on a game that should have variety? The whole series has been about decision and consequence. If the endings are what they say they are, then there is no point to the decisions.

I *WOULD* pay for a 'post game dlc" where it is a playable adventure. BUT bioware already confirmed there will be no post game dlc because the end is the end :/

yes, I understand it sets a bad precedent so if Bioware does do it (I hope they do) vote with your wallet

I read the OP. I'm not happy with the endings either, but I don't agree with paying money on something that should already be in the game. The day 1 DLC is as much bull**** as I can handle. Next thing you'll be offering to pay money for more than 1 playthrough. You're encouraging Bioware and EA to develop subpar games because you'll pay money to have them "fix" them if they **** up.

FFXIII did very well, the knock on effect FFXIII-2 not so well.

Thing with FF's they are all different. I own them all, there are some I like some I don't. But each one is a fresh start.
Decent next gen tech demo or a remake of FFVII and SquareEnix are golden again.

The ending was the best part of Final Fantasy Ten.

I'm ashamed to say that I'd probably pay Bioware/EA for a DLC that changes this whole stupid thing about "The Normandy flies away from Earth and crashes on some planet, separating Shepard from his/her LI, squadmates and crew forever even if he/she survives". But that's because as it is, the ME series end on FAR too much of a bitter/despressing note, so... I was looking forward to play through the ME series a lot now that the third game's finailly here, but how am I supposed to be motivated into doing that knowing that only a crap ending awaits me either way? Bah...

Is this a forums gimmick. People try to outbid one another on how much they'll pay for DLC?

I would pay up to 15 $ for another ending. Regardless what this ending might be in the end, but everything is better than what is includet in the game so far.

This is just DA2 all over again. You would think Bioware had learned something from that title? Guess not. I would buy a better ending DLC however, I wouldn't be preordering another title from them, and I would mark them down with Bethesda as releasing games that are sub par if not broke at launch. Granted Bethesda releases only super broke games FO3, FONV, and Skyrim. Having a bad ending is almost as bad as having released a broken title.
