no apparently they are not safe either way

you dont have to recruit Tali or Garrus they become war assests and end up in the battle for earth on ships

I would theoretically buy a good ending DLC, but I will absolutely wait till its out & I can read a thorough review, with spoilers. I don't trust Bioware at all anymore.

War assets do NOT end up on the Normandy, only the crew.

I've been periodically snickering at the irony of it all. People were originally up in arms over how Liara gets remembered for no reason, now people realize that Liara is the only LI who will ALWAYS get stranded no matter what.

Tali, you can tell her "Lead your people!" and she'll say "k lol"
Garrus, you can say to him "Lead your people!" and he'll say "i ain't even mad!"
VS you can kick off the squad and they get real pissy...but at least they survive.

But Liara, Vega and Prothy the Prothean are pretty much doomed.

Agreed completely. I think, after the game comes out, I'm going to start a "We want better ending DLC!" petition/poll. Laugh at this idea if you want, but sitting around isn't going to get things done. It's at least worth trying to fix things.

The sad part is that people will buy it. I pity them.

Their marketing people have really let their greed take over. Sure people would pay for a better ending, but they would feel burned that they had to do it in the first place. The end result would be a major decline in preorders and sales of new titles. So is $10,00 really worth that? I guess in their minds, its yes.

They can't be romanced if they are war assets.


Also it also depends of the highest player relationship. If Tali and Garrus IS romanced they are magically teleported to the planet. Yeah depending on the player relationship the highest ranking ones come out of the normandy that includes a romanced Tali and Garrus.




THAT IS THE MOST CRAPPIEST PART. Even if you take two squadmates with you they are still in the Normandy during the ending. Despite being in the final battle!!!!
