This is pathetic. You're starting to look like a herd of sheep.
Soon they will sell only 50% of the game on the disc and you'll have to pay extra for the other 50%. And you people will gladly eat it up.
They at least pumped two good games into the market before thay can do something like that. If they do it with their first game, it just gonna be a crappy game and no one will buy it.

Something that's been brought up is Bethesda's Broken Steel for Fallout 3. Thing is, the Lone Wanderer suviving was just a small part of Broken Steel. Most of it was a quest line dealing with the Brotherhood of Steel. That's why they made it. The surviving part is just something they put in as a bonus.
The best we can hope for is a "Rescue the Normandy" or "Rebuild the relays" DLC, and even that's incredibly unlikely. They've announced they have no post ending DLC plans. As far as they're concerned Shepard's story ends with him defeating the Reapers, destroying the relays and being separated from his crew.

My guess is those games that have been
release early are missing some code for and ending or two, in order to
stop the morons ruining the ending for everyone. If this is the case
Bioware, Well done!
The happy endings will be patched in in day one and we will all be fine.
Another is denial.

what is the point of other types of DLC if they just do not matter and everything still ends in misery?
I pride myself in having bought every ME dlc put out but I would not buy ME3 dlc that did not change the endings...there would literally be no point for me

To re-enforce that, Capcom and Activision already do what you just described.

And haven't you guys played games like Red Dead Redemption? Halo Reach? They didn't end very happily, but are great games. If ME3 turns out to be crap fine, but why don't you make that judgement AFTER you play it for yourself?

If they make that DLC, they should make it free. Ending of a game trilogy are things that I dont want to give extra 10$ just so I can have my perfect ending, I want it in the damn game, free of charge.MissMaster wrote...

That's a negative. If this is how the series ends fine. All you fanboys are stupid to be judging it just for the end. That's like buying a Book, and skipping to the end and reading the last paragraph and deciding it sucks. I'm so tired of seeing all this stupid panic when the game isn't out.

But is the game in your possession? Are you playing it on your console and making your own decision, or going by what others are saying?

Can anyone, in a non spoiling way, tell me what is bad about the endings?
They are bittersweet to many.
Bittersweet?
More like just bitter.

I will kindly disagree with the OP. No point in reneging on whatever creative decicions were made for the ending. Please focus DLC efforts on making the best DLC you can. Example: Lair of the Shadow Broker = AMAZING.
LotSB was amazing to me *because* it brought two people who cared about each other together after they had been separated by time, death, and resurection. A DLC that brings Shepard back together with his crew/LI (people he cares about) would be exactly the same kind of content and would resonate for all of the same reasons.

A bittersweet ending is fine. Offering only endings that will break your heart is unforgivable. Especially after people are putting so much effort into the trilogy.
