Hey I'm playing Dragon Age 2 on the ps3 at the moment and every time I log in it says 'a new update (1.05) is available. please go to http://social.biowar...age/da2-patches' or something along those lines. If i try to go onto this website on the ps3 and download it, it won't word it says 'connect storage media' and the game itself won't update :S can someone help please!

That's what it says for me too . I assumed that the patch would download automatically seeing as that's what always happens . So do we have to download it ? I thought the file on the website for PC downloads only ?

Go into your game data and under the Dragon Age 2 data there should be two different sets of data, one for the game data and one for dlc and patches. Go to the one that says dlc and patches and select it. It should tell you what patch is the latest you've installed. Maybe you already installed it and didn't know.

Patch 1.05 doesn't even really fix the problems it's said to fix. They're still there.

Yeah, BW has moved past DA2, and I am about 95% sure we aren't getting anything else as far as patches/DLC is concerned. It's sad that we've been shafted, but not much we can do about it. Here is something I found out though; I tried to load a post legacy save, and it said it was corrupted, being irritated I kept trying to reload it, after like five tries it actually loaded and a new save did not corrupt, not sure if this would work with MoTA, but it did work after Legacy.

Seems like the save file isn't actually corrupt, but for lack of a better word, confused.

DLC is certainly done for DAII -- they announced that some time ago -- but they said they would still be patching the game as needed.

Though I doubt DAII PS3 fans will be getting any patches to help fix the save corruption issue.

is bioware going to make a new patch for nathaniel rescue mission glitch.. i transported my data from awakening.. nathaniel was left behind in the keep to protect it .. all the characters i left there survived.. but i still didnt get the mission.. then i lookd up the issue.. i guess i needed him in my group at the end of the game.. because D.A 2 will consider him dead.. please fix this issue.. Another thing.. when im playing the game it just freezes .. its happened like 30 times since i started playing.. and it only happens with D.A 2

Same here, patch is mentioned in the news scroll, but there appears to be no option to download or install it. Is this something that only applies if you have the DLC for the game (I currently only have the base game)?

I turned off autosave and reinstalled everything and still getting the game breaking glitch. This has ruined my EA/Bioware game experience. I am literally packing up all my EA games, Dragon Age 1, Awakening, DA2, Battlefield 1-3, Dead Space 1-2, Mirror's Edge, and Bulletstorm Mass Effect 2-3, and Army of Two 1 & 2 to take them to Gamestop and trade them in. After spending 35+ hours (only on this 2nd playthrough my first was a year ago) to platinum the game and get game corrupting errors I am done with EA. What kind of publisher allows this? The game's been out for almost 2 years and they already started part 3? How can you start part 3 if you haven't even gotten part 2 working? Worst part is, I do QA for a living. THIS IS AN EPIC QA FAIL. The entire QA team from this development team deserves to be canned.
