So I'm thinking something light and whispy, probably with pan flutes. I'll have to see what public domain music I can find. *rubs hands togehter*

@Rubies - ohhhh going to record some of your own music? What sorts of weapons are you thinking of? Bows? Daggers? Something totally different?
@Z - *grins and steals his blinders* Ohhh look at the nifty theme this month Z! *cackles*
@Pen - I sense much death and destruction of cloth while you figure out how to make the outfit do what you want. *eyes dancing*
@Jenna - Awesome inspiration pictures. Thanks.
@Draygoth - Moose, too funny! I can't help but share the image that went through my mind when I saw you were doing mounts... The DLA Treant with a halfling sitting in the branches. Not elven I know, but what a crazy mount that would be!
@Shem - Great start on the head, his distinctive scowl is clearly seen.
@Purple One - That was FAST! I love that you made two sizes of them.
*panting slightly* I think I caught up. Maybe.

A couple hours, I think. Would have been a little faster, but I had to redo the outermost curved parts on the original one because it was just a little too blocky for my taste.TheSpiritedLass wrote...

Really, if doing size and color variants like these, once you get the first one or two done, the rest of the work flows much faster. I took a few minutes to resize the original spire (scaling it up to 300% and moving pieces up out of the ground after the scaling). It took about 90 seconds for each color variant after the original model work was done.
They're a little "heavy", but that's the price of trying to show halfway decent curves in NWN. Each model weighs in at a beefy 247kb after compiling. The texture files are much leaner.
Haven't done portraits for the spires yet. I figure I'll wait until closer to the end of the month for that, in case I decide to make anything more (save the boring work for last, I say).

Seriously, can we get rid of the auto resizing to 540 pixels? It's rather sad.
.
I guess not. 540 is as big as it will let me go. I guess you could always make thumbnail links 33x15http://i49.servimg.com/u/f49/12/49/97/77/elvenp10.jpg[/img]

That would work great. Just edit it to take out all the spaces between the "[" and the "img"

Baelnorn - the Elven "Good Lich"

Cooshee - Elven Hound. The CODI Aoskian hound model might be a great starter point for this one

Really liking the spires and new heads, but is it possible to get a high poly version of the heads too?

@Jenna: By Corellon! When I'm beginning to feel proud of my heads because they are very close to the LOTR actors with a few number of polygons; After all High-poly models don't works well with NWN...
You have made a hard question Jenna; And the answer is yes and no.
I had some help to made my heads, because I'm using a software what are able to made 3d models of heads from 2d pictures. This software are able to export High-Poly models. But it makes only bald heads models. I had to do many things after, like modifying textures and UW maps; And of course i had to do by myself things like the hair, diadems, etc....

wonders if he could wrap a spiral staircase around the trunk of a huge tree with some nice elven style railings...

Is that the proverbial "he"? Third person self referential? Passive reference of the other?

But here is a mock-up of what I'm doing.

Since the texture will be a plt, I guess I'll just leave the three (nine?) versions of the Cloak of Feathers up to the builder/scripter
Anyway, back to play, er work!

While I'm probably not going to contribute for this month because I can't really think of much, there is a very, very, very old Cooshee/Ku Sith on the vault
Its in the Petpack by Nitocris and Finniksa
