Liara's last words before the final battle.

Liara:"I do have one thing for you, Shepard. A gift. It will only take a moment if you want it."

"Memories. I can show you some of my consciousness. What you look like to me. Asari exchange them sometimes with good friends, or their bondmates. It can also be a way to say farewell."

After reading & going through all the spoilers and stuff, i was pissed and depressed but then i became calm, normal again saying "its just a game just enjoy it and accept the ending bioware gave it" but after reading this line im sad again lmfao, and when this dialogue is said ingame its gonna get worse. ;_;

What saddens me is the beam me up Scotty portion at the end, think the 2 squad-mates you bring to Earth with you should stay with you.

Granted the whole Joker trying to escape thing is retarded in its own right considering how much Joker has gone through with Shepard. My Shepard would want to be the Normandy no matter what, **** he already went down with it once.

Real kick in the groin that it seems like we won't be able to keep the promise with Liara either way... Image IPB

To be fair, the rest of the game looks quite good.

I'll just close my eyes, pretend to be deaf and use my (limited) imagination to make up a better ending. Yay! The two of us are gonna get that stupid tropical planet, Garrus, you just wait.

Post-credit dialogue from Liara:

"Ok. One person at a time. Draw lots. EDI do the tracking please. Declare any STDs you have now. I'm gonna be doing this for the next 500 years so don't ****** me off. Make me come first. Once everyone's done we'll start with the first guy again. Label the kids when they're born too so I know who's their own grandpa."

I don't know why they would get our hopes up for having a future with our LIs with dialogue like that if they went and made it impossible. I just can't accept they would do that, they know that is what a lot of fans wanted.

Just one ending with my LI and shepard's friends. Just one. The rest of the galaxy could burn in the corpses of the reapers, i don't care. Just give me the ending where Shepard finally gets happiness.

Right? I think I may just pretend that the series ended after LotSB and that the Reapers spent the next 100k years travelling out from darkspace, by which point all the species of the universe basically just broke them like twigs. It's better imo.

Is it impossible that shepard, if alive, takes a ship and searches for his crew?

Yes. The speed at which any remaining ships could fly is insufficient to reach wherever the Normandy crashed in Shepard's lifetime because the mass relay would already have proplelled them many lightyears away from Earth. Even if he/she was in suspendend animation, the colonists wouldn't be. Reunion: Impossible.

He could, but he would never succeed.

And its impossible, that they invent a technology in time?
If the relays are destroyed, someone might invent something...

I thought math was that FTL would take 27 years to cross the galaxy? That makes rescue arguably hard, at worse, not impossible.

And seeing as it's been refitted as an Alliance vessel, you'd think they'd have some sort of emergency frequency beacon or lowjack on it for them to be found.

They are not even a relay jump away, and the reapers took 6 month to arrive to the galaxy from dark space. You are all free to imagine any reunion you want, provided that your Shepard survived. In the end, it's all just personal interpretation.

Well there's still the QEC, meaning yes they are still in contact.

I guess in a multiverse, BioWare has an actual good ending for this trilogy.... Somehow, I still don't feel happy.

"Can you tell me another Story about the shepard? Its getting late but ok, one more story"
I sense some post-ending "find your crew"-DLC here, what else could that grandpa tell?

I had a thought, if at the beginning of ME2, Liara left Shepard on the Normandy and he ended up dying. Would she really make the same decision again in ME3? I mean she'd have to have a good reason for leaving Shepard knowing how it all played out last time.

Bah, I think this is what grinds me the most.

Couldn't they have done something where maybe it shows Earth or another planet constructing a shepard or normandy statue instead of having this whole game be some kids bed time story.....

It leaves it too vague with no answers whatsoever.

For all we know, it implies that only grandpa knows the game we played, and the rest of civilization has no idea what grandpa is talking about,  takes it as a myth, or it's all a fairy tale.

Something a little bit more clear would have been nice on the history and the conclusion of the ME universe.

Uh huh. And? The galaxy is not a straight line of planets that you can tick off one by one, it's a huge area that takes 27 years to traverse from one edge to the other, that doesn't mean you can explore the whole of it in that time. You'll miss the stuff on the sides of your line.

So its only one cluster.
