Hi I'm having some issues with Grunt's Loyalty Mission.
When I go and talk to the Shaman about starting the Rite Uvenk is not there. His dialogue still plays in the cutscene, but his model is not present. Occasionally, his model will appear, but it will not be textured. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit edition with Service Pack 1 with an AMD Phenom 9750 quad core. My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 5750 1gb at stock clocks with AMD Preview Driver version 12.2 using a custom application profile for ME2. I also have 8gb of DDR 2 RAM. I have a physical copy of Mass Effect 2 fully patched to version 1.02. In the interest of full disclosure, I did attempt overclocking a long time ago, but I have not seen any issues like this before. The problem started appearing a couple weeks ago, and the only reason it took me this long to post is I thought that it might fix itself. Please help, I don't want to finish the Loyalty Mission while it is having this issue, but this is my last Loyalty Mission before the Reaper IFF and I need a save to import into ME3. Thanks in advance for help.

Sounds to me like a corrupted file for his model. First thing I would do is copy my boiware file somewhere to save it, then reinstall the game and retry the save again.

Ok, I tried talking to Wrex to see if anything changed. Now, Uvenk's model seems to load, but it has no textures, other than the glowing tubes, and I can walk through it.
Edit: Before talking to Wrex, I tried restarting from the beginning of this particular visit, and the model loaded as per the previous statement.

As it turns out, I guess I didn't realize I needed to backup my achievements as well as my saves. As such, I am just going to start all over again and if the problem persists, I will revisit this thread.
