ergo, we make mad money playing ME3!

True dat. I feel sorry for the people have important school work or get paid by the hour. How do you play ME3 for days and days when you have responsibilities or gotsta get paid? Where da fun in that?

When I was hourly I still got paid time off

I'll ask my boss for 2 days off next week, wednesday and thursday...of course I'll have to work more this week to compensate...but it deserves the effort *-*

I've stockpiled vacation pay, so yes. Phone (mostly) off, blinds closed, I'm stockpiling food and ignoring the world for four days. If my girlfriend didn't live with me a lot of the time, I'd have no other human contact during that time.

I've got my priorities in order, man.

Both my patner and i will be playing the game in seperate rooms so for a few days we'll likely have minimal contact and our relationship will suffer bed death. Neither of us will be cooking either we plan to live on takeaway and microwave food. Life and relationship shall stop for Mass Effect it was the same for the last 2 games XD

My wife just HAAAAAD to take one of my 3 days off. I warned her: I am playing my game, using the john, and maybe eating.

22 credit hours are unforgiving. :crying:
And I have an extra exam on Friday, which I would normally get off.
And my spring break is currently happening. :crying:

You just know she'll come in the room and ask you a question during a cut-scene. My wife has an incredible ability to sense just when I can't pause the game so she can demand my attention.

Unfortunately, to take time off I'm actually skipping class on the run-up to finals week, so I can only afford to take Tuesday (the 6th) off, because it's a lab day, anyway.

If I remember correctly, I did the same with DA2. Except I stayed up and played it straight through, and by the time I finished it I was so exhausted that I felt like I'd hallucinated most of it, so, ahem, won't be doing that with ME3.

Also, what's up with constantly releasing titles around my husband's birthday, Bioware? You did it with Dragon Age 2, as well; I know it's no accident. Don't think you're getting away with it. ;)

I see you two have met.

She saw ME2 and didn't like it.  She's not a scifi girl.  But she'll be sure to ask me to explain everything that's happening while I'm putting it together.  Lol

You must have a pretty s*** job to consider time off just to play a video game. Or custom days off. I get every weekend off so I got no real choice (but free weekends rule so :P). Still gonna play launch day though.

Hopefully she realizes you're saving the damn galaxy! That's serious business! If you don't save it, then who will? WHO? There's zero time to talk about wife topics!

Heh.

Generally speaking, you're supposed to be able to do whatever you want during time off. That's why it's called time off.

My friend quit their job to play ME3. He asked for time off, the manager said no, he quit. It was funny.

I for one tend bar, and am not taking time off. I'll just sleep less.

Damn prelim in the way next week. I wish I could reschedule it (I am giving the prelim, not taking it), but evening prelims are scheduled over a year in advanced so I cannot move it.
