The FU.CK why can't he respond here!!!
Because he's well aware of the crap he and Bioware have pulled and are trying to keep it silent in an attempt to maximise sales before everyone goes "Hey.. this ending sucks.. it doesn't make any impact on anything! BIOWA-" as Bioware sprints away with your cash in hand.

SWTOR works because there's somewhere it can go. The Mass Effect universe has about a 25 year period they could put it in, any earlier and it's before humans, and later and you're in/after ME3 which means that basically your starting zone=the entire game.HiroVoid wrote...
....They can't really be thinking of an MMO can they? That would be incredibly stupid. The only reason SWTOR works is because if worst comes to worst, it has Star Wars fans holding it up. They couldn't invest nearly the same risk.

LOL, Star Wars has a near 40 yrs worth of fanbase. Mass Effect can hope to match that! Especially after the crap in Me3 endings.

Wow Casey confirmed ME was a 3rd Person shooter not a RPG.
I thought this was common sense.

I guess they satisfied all the people that didn't like the LI part of ME,and screwed over all the LI fans. Great trolls win.... how pitiful!Sashimi_taco wrote...

If you cant succeed with StarWars not much chance with ME3.
At least if TOR has problems, it has the diehard Star Wars fans to fall back on. I'm pretty sure those outnumber the Mass Effect ones.

But I don't want this to be the same in an ME MMO. But the carrot is there...

I honestly don't care about the relays being destroyed, I just want shep to be with her loved ones and live a life of happiness after all that work. Why does the hero have to die when they finish their goal? Don't they deserve a reward of just simply having a peacful/exciting/any life at all for their hard work? I'm not religious so to mean life is life and death is death. There is nothign after, and death is not beauftul to me.

I agree. I'm still hoping that it is possible and that all this talk we are hearing on the forums is just troll propaganda. But I'd be lying if I didn't say that I'm worried about the outcome.Sashimi_taco wrote...

SWTOR had the continuation of Revan's and the Exile's stories with the book and the game.
The game really isn't about Revan or the Exile though. It's about a bigger picture.
And trust me, the conclusion of Revan's and the Exile's stories are much worse than the 'terrible' ending for ME 3. I was a big KotOR fan, and I also like SWTOR, but I would have preferred that Revan's and the Exile's fate was decided by players instead of just becoming characters with a few brief appearances. Heck, why didn't they make Revan & The Exile playable characters? Well, I suppose if they'd have to adhere to LucasArts' canon, it would be a problem...
... but otherwise Revan and the Exile could have totally been a 'Jedi Knight' class plotline or whatever.

Think about the N7 symbol. It stands for all the human blood Shepard must sacrifice for the galaxy! Of course it had to come down to losing Earth and/or dying!

I play (well, not lately) SWTOR as well, I've seen the Ops with Revan too.
What annoys me is that, once again there is no definite ending for characters and that might be used for ME MMO, trailers that show perhaps a video of Garrus talking and such and people will go "Oh my! The story continues!", the same way they dangled the Revan carrot here.
