I really wish I hadn't of watched the endings...

Even if I have fun with this game, I'll always have the depressing knowledge at the back of my brain which tells me even if I am victorious in this battle, I'll still lose in the end. Damn me and my curiousity. Maybe, if I had resisted temptation I could have had at least one ME3 playthrough where I held onto the idea of hope, at least until the very end. Now, every good moment is going to be dampened by the endings. I really wish there was some sort of technology which allowed me to erase all the ME3 knowledge I've learned. I really do. I know it's my fault, but it still sucks.
Anyone else feel like this?

Only if you everything about the destination beforehand. Obviously knowledge of the future colors your opinion on the present, but if you had avoided the spoilers the journey would have been magnificent.

Now imagine taking a left turn into the Character and Romance forums during that time. You have been blessed, my friend.
And it doesn't have to be all bad. Headcanon is pretty easy with all of the endings.

If I was in pre-order I'd just cancel and wait a couple of months.

Not much replay value, though. Actually, I don't feel exactly the same as the OP; actually I think I'm going to like the endings, in a tragically beautiful sort of way, but... I can understand how he feels. I wish there was another option. But I'm still going to enjoy the hell out of this game, I know.casedawgz wrote...

Until the end, when you realize that the journey was pointless. Then you're angry and disappointed because no matter your actions, the destination is the same. Angry because the whole point of the journey was to determine the destination, but the destination is already determined.

As a lifelong fan of Stephen King, if I didn't believe that the journey was what mattered I would have killed myself years ago.
I take it you've read The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower?
Funnily enough, the Coda was the only part of that book that I actually liked.

Up until the endings, perhaps. And even then, ther knowledge would/will sour future playthroughs...

That's because you have some control over the end. For ME3 all endings are too similar and disregard what you've done in 1 and 2. There is no replay value for 3.

Which means there's not much replay value for any of the games because the first two games mainly centered around preparing for the final war with the Reapers. Now that we know no choices have any real affect what's the point?

And it too had a New Game+ mode that allowed you to replay with your achieved levels and items.

Are you implying Stepgen King has never written happy endings?

exactly. if you look at me2 w/e you decide is basicly the same thing when you destroy the base or kill off the collectors.
same with me1 same out come happens when you save or kill the council
nothing really does change so i dont see how the endings of all 3 games make the full games non replayable

This is why Chrono Trigger, a game released over 17 years ago on the Super Nintendo, will forever be the best RPG known to man. Over 15 separate endings, each and every one of those endings completely unique.

thing is though that is 17 years ago you cant always hold on to the past and expect games to be the same
