So is PC really that much easier than console?

PC has harder enemies because aiming is much swifter on the PC.

If this wasn't the case I would agree with them.

PC doesn't have harder enemies.

It is only perceived to have harder enemies because every shooter based game on console has inherent auto aim/aim assistance due to lack of precision aiming with a thumbstick.

As a result, it is easier to headshot and therefore do more damage to every enemy on a console than it is on a PC. That's why nearly every quick scope/sniper rifle montage video of 100% headshots you see on youtube is done on a console because you'd never pull that off on a PC.

Even competitive PC pro-gamers that specialize in sniping don't have a 100% headshot rates that sniper rifle console montage videos of random non-pros pull off.

This is why I like being able to do what I can do on the xbox 360. Not many other players on the console can aim really well all the time (or if they can they can do it rarely with not much consistency). Quickscope headshots on the PC in ME3 is a piece of cake with a device like a mouse as precise as it is lining up shots doesn't take much effort. But I can do that same feat with a controller in a consistent manner match in and out small or big target. I've fine tuned my skills after years of playing competitive FPS's like Halo and it's made my hand eye coordination really good.

Controllers are not as easy to line shots up as it is with my gaming mouse but I don't care. And yes I know most games on the console have slight aim assist but there are games that you cna turn that off completely. In Black Ops you can turn aim assit off and I do fine without it on. So the excuse of "aim assist on consoles makes it easier" is not very valid. It all biols down to how skilled and delecate the individual is with the thumbsticks. I like to be able to sit back and relax instead of being crouched over a keyboard and mouse when I game. I really don't know which one is 'easier' all I am saying is I like the challenge presented to me using a controller on the console.

it's easy enough to aim on console with most weapons to be honest. Only thing I that would really improve if I had a mouse and keyboard would probably my aim with the graal/gps and for scoring headshots on moving targets with heavy pistols and snipers. That's honestly not that hard on console either though, only thing that is hard to headshot are phantoms really.

I would give you that one, but when I play with firends on a console we still end up crouched over the controller and leaning towards the screen. Gaming is clearly terrible for your posture.:(

If someone thinks controllers are worse, maybe he or she just shouldn't have bought a console in the first place.

All the console players I know are absolutely convinced, that console controllers are so much better than keyboard and mouse. I for my part totally suck at playing with controllers.

I've played PC games for over 20 years and mostly nowdays play on consoles and there's no contest, controllers don't come close to mouse and keyboard when it comes to speed and precision when aiming. Movement however is generally easier on consoles

You actually need to aim.
