Well if you have access to a US based VPN or similar you can always trick Steam into thinking your in America and decrypt the game that way. The only thing then is you'll have to stay in 'offline mode' afterwards until Friday otherwise it will re-encrypt.

i have an essay due tomorrow, my internet is slow enough for the pre-load to take 18 hours, but ive done just 1000 words of 3000, spent the rest of the time on the forums here, or just reading about the game in general

is there some content you can use? i mean - open. manuals, sht like that? I am only on 10% right now.

Steam encrypts it all. You can look at the files, but not open them. I admit I double-clicked on the .exe, just in case.

I wouldnt be surprised if Japan has to wait for DA until next year. We have to wait for jrpg's to come over at least half a year, but the same is also true for the opposite .

You can always delete the local content and start pre-loading again. Gives you something to do.

Nah - nothing, not even the manual. You can delete the local cache and pre-load it again if that will make you feel better. =)

My brother is going to collect the game on Wedneday but I wouldn't be home until the 30th of November  as I'm studying overseas.

I've come to join my brothers & sisters in Europe in our painful wait...I'm still waiting a slot to pre-load from steam myself, but even then the waiting until friday....when I might have to go to my in laws place and wait until Monday.....the pain...

Wait...so your game says it'll be released in 4 days? Because here in Australia it is timed with the American release on Steam. I'm not sure if this is because we're lucky or if because Steam isn't clever.

It's actually illegal for certain series to have a new release on a work day in Japan.

Dragon Quest is the only one I can think of, off the top of my head.
