I made a Steam Ticket about it, but I haven't gotten an answer. I'll post it here if I get one (although I kind of wish I hadn't told them, just incase they never realised what was happening).

Kicked off the preload a few minutes ago - at this time of day, not much traffic, so it's going very quickly (10% downloaded in 10 minutes...)

hah! I've made several productive thing so far... I'm actually feeling pretty good about my level of work right now.

Same with me here, the game is just waiting on my disk. I just discovered another problem tho. Im in Norway, and the Nordic release date is november 5th, but my steam account has the UK/EU date (6th)!!!!

What to do? Pick up the game in a local store on thursday or wait for steam until friday?

At least game.co.uk keeps reassuring me that my Pre-Order is safe, and I will definitely receive it on launch day. Yet with my pessimistic origins (hihihi) I can't help but fear the worst.

Ok so i'm an european and w8ing for this untill the 6th makes me mentally unstable On top of that i saw that the game is allready available on torrents i have my preorder from steam but i just don't know if i can wait anymore thus i'm considering giving in to "the dark side". Any other ppl there in my position?

Try restarting steam. or... Settings -> Downloads -> Download Region  and choose another place.

No! Don't do it! It is respectless against BioWare, and it could be incredibly disappointing as you know... it could have bugs and all that.. And ehm.. Just don't. (This was for the 'torrent' comment, not the one above mine)

Ouch. You poor EU people. :< If I could I'd totally fly over Europe and drop packages of Dragon Age Origin's out of a plane for you Mines Pre-loaded and it unlocks in... 1 day 7 hours... ugh. Tomorrow at 2 pm can't get here fast enough, and I have class today. Its going to feel like a freaking eternity I can be sure of that.
