Can' t run ME3 since new Origin Update

So, when I started up my Origin I was happy to see the new Update (custom Avatars, yay). However, once downloaded and updated, I wanted to play some more ME3 Multiplayer, but the Game wont start.
All I get is the Beginning of the EA-Logo-Intro-Thingy (Sound only) then a black Screen and Window's usual "Send or not to send"-Window popping up.
I've tried to reinstall Origin, even reinstalled the ME3 Demo. None of them fix'd it. I was running the Demo nice and fine yesterday and all previous Days. I even changed my Avatar back to a Gallery Avatar, just in case Origin screws up the Ingame Overlay using a costum Avatar. I don't have any other Games on Origin, so I can't check if these are working.
So..yeah, please halp.

That really sucks. The demo has a tons of issues which probably won't be present launch day.

Yeah, I hope it'll run fine once the actual Game comes out. I got a fairly old PC, yet it runs smooth. I haven't changed or installed anything, only updated Origin and since then it doesn't run anymore. I was hoping to find more People with the same Problem, but it seems like I am the only one.

Same problem here. :/ Can we roll back Origin updates?
I mean, it's only a few more days until I have it for real, but that multiplayer's fun stuff!

Did you try re-installing the game?

Contact Origin support, i think they can do more for you then Bioware on this issue.

I installed the new update yesterday and then I couldn't play the demo for some time. (+ friend list didn't show, just rotating circle all the time and in the store page the sliders where zipping up and down without me doing anything
).
I closed and opened Origin a couple of times and after some time it just started working like normal so I don't have any problems anymore but still it's kinda strange.
Then again, it's Origin BETA so all kind of things are possible it seems. xD

did you try disabling origin ? (untick "enable origin in game")

I've tried starting ME3 in offline Mode with the same Result. Not sure if you mean that, going to try your Suggestion once I am back at Home.

basically disables the overlay but it seems to be the thing that causes the problem most often

Yeah that fixes it, but makes playing with Friends much harder :l

if you're so inclined you can always go make a post on origin's forum and tell them it's not working with overlay on. they might be able to help you but I won't hold my breath

It seems to be a random Thing. I disabled it, started the Game and it ran like it usually did. Then I enabled Origin InGame again and it's starting up and working properly.
