But I'd certainly hope to hear something more solid at least in general terms, and address the whole reaction (as well as push the new planned MP stuff and DLC, I want to hear about that too!)

I have been computer gaming since before there were PCs (yes, playing a space combat sim using a line printer & 300 baud modem connected to a PDP11) and I've never seen such an outcry over a game before. With great anticipation comes potential for great disappointment. Nothing comes close to the volume of negative response I've seen on this issue on YouTube, DeviantArt, etc.
I think Bioware/EA have a chance to make this right with the fans still, but if they do not I strongly suspect there will be financial repercussions for future game sales. I know I won't be pre-ording a DA3 release unless they surprise me in a good way on the 6th.

then more new dialogue frokm the catalyst explaining in better detail how it all came about, let me refer you to a rprevious thread here, read the op, i reckon itll be something like this (i hope it is)

it will be interesting how they explain jokers scene with the normandy, like how a FTL ship cant outrun an explosion, and how the crew got on the ship and how the Normandy came to be outside the sol system.
but i concur, there wont be any "new" crafted ending, only a bolt on, similar to witch-hunt and we really dont want to be reminded of that complete failure from the same company right.
Hudson will stick to his guns, remember they are only listening, and i am afraid all the furore will fall upon deaf ears. oh! expect lots of multiplayer DLC, we will be lucky to get even one SP dlc in the next year.
but what i am really hoping for is BW introduce a boss fight with harbinger, and end the game after shepard collapses after activating the crucible, killing all reapers and only reapers.
no need for space magic and stargodchild or even jokers scenes, or stargazer, or even breathe clip, all those things didnt help anything, only made things worse.

...and bear in mind they've really been caught on the hop with the endings backlash.
Which is actually what surprises and disappoints me the most. I'm not entirely sure how they couldn't have seen at least some of this coming. It's all very strange indeed. I am just hoping for some honesty and insight on the 6th as to why these particular endings were chosen. Mass Effect has come and gone, but Bioware remains -- so it'd be nice to see that company we all know and love is still there.

i think itll be a patch to include missing dialogue, and emails of explanation, or even new dialogue between TIM explaining the control of the reapers better, and clarification of how the crucible was formed by other extinct (reaped) civilizations to clarify how the nodes got in the construction plan.

*snip the rest*
If they seriously go the Tech Singularity route then I will eat my hat. Its even worse than going the IT theory and saying it wasn't planned but the fans were too smart for their own good.

This shows, that almost a year before the release of ME3, Bioware knew exactly what the fans wanted, and what they did not want. But, somehow they managed to do just the opposite.

And make a better ending this time round...A HAPPY ENDING!
ALL REAPERS DIE!
EVERYONE SURVIVED, EVEN THE GETH (I brought peace between quarians and geth)
SHEPARD IS ALIVE AND LIVES HAPPILY EVER AFTER WITH HIS ROMANCE PARTNER!

They should have a PAX in Anchorage, Alaska. Why is it big gaming events tend to ignore/not care about us up here in the Great Land? Distance would be my guess. But still...
Because we're too busy hunting Caribou and Moose, and gillnetting.

@jsunakasully My feedback: I want indoc theory to be true, shep wakes up, finishes fight, then we see one of many truly diff endngs
@masseffect: Thank you for your feedback!
@jsunakasully: no problem! Is what I'm hoping for even close to what we can expect to find out at Pax or in the near future?
@masseffect: :x
I laughed. I know they're not going to say anything until then. Thankfully I'll be right there when they finally do! T minus two days...

People need to have a little faith rather then all the doom and glom, believe that there will be rainbows and sunshine at the pax east meeting believe!!!.
.
I really think the fact that they're going to make an announcement in public in front of a lot of fans bodes well. They don't want a "PAX East crowd boos Bioware" video going viral or something like that. I really have faith in the Bioware team. They've made 3 excellent games; they're going to finish this trilogy the right way.
I hope.
