Fan from Australia here, where we pay double the price for games (seriously, cheapest new games =
USD$102.08/CAD$101.38!), and Bioware titles usually make us feel like we paid too little.
ME3 is the first title where I felt gypped.
ME1 took me 50+ hours (not rushing).
ME2 took me 50+ hours (not rushing).
ME3 took me
30+ hours (not rushing).
Okay, if the ending is great, even if we go
"Wild Bunch" and some/many characters die, 20 extra hours is an okay sacrific--
WHAT THE FLYING FRAK?! O_oTo be fair, the journey was fun, even with less in-jokes than ME2 and a lower bar for the ending compared to ME2 - you know what, if you had produced ME3
then ME2, you'd see nothing but praise!
(Except for the illogical ending to ME3. That was just half baked. Did EA rush this? Feels like it after the brilliance of ME2.)
EDIT : Before some bright spark pokes me for only having ME2 and 3, my banners here don't show ALL Bioware titles I own. I still have Mass Effect in the original case. It was the whole reason I BOUGHT an XBOX (and the carried over save was the reason I didn't SELL my XBOX!).
(I also have KotOR here on the PC. Not finished it yet.)
