Great! There is no miltuplayer.

They said there will be MP more like co-op like Diablo and other games like that. I am wondering if it will be like ME3 and MP will affect the ending of SP?and they lie about it not affecting the ending.

I'm getting a little tired of this.  You did this to us for months.  We were desperate for anything, any information about the next DLC.  "We can't say anything just yet," you all said.  So we waited, and we had hope, and we defended you.  And then in one single post you humiliated those who had supported you and said that there would simply be no more DLC.

I think you guys need to work on your communicaton skills a bit.  You have loyal followers, but people can only take being jerked around so much.

Well I'm pleased as punch about the mention of the Warden, and choosing their voice. Even if it's only theoretical.

And for anyone who has a dead warden...they can just make a stand-in Orlais Warden, the way they do in ME when a character is dead, sometimes to great effect. (Wreav can never replace Wrex, but I thought he was an interesting character in his own right, and brought legitimacy to the 'kill Wrex' story-thread).

I also really like the idea of armor morphing depending on the character...I think that's the perfect compromise between customization and characterization.

These all sound like fantastic ideas so far...but will they have the time, or the budget?

Well I don´t buy that game then. MP is not for me and if it affects the SP in any way I will not have anything to do with it.

it would be enough with just leaking some concept art or a cinematic trailer, so fans would know that there actually exists a da3, you dont need to leak its gameplay so early imo

Leak something, anything from the next da-project so we know it exist or some of us are having a very hard time trusting your words at this point.

I'm fine with their strategy and ready to wait until they can show something about which we can discuss then instead of discussing words that can and sometimes will change into a completely different direction.

It sounds more like you are upset that there'll be no more DLC, than upset about the communication from Bioware. After all, they have admitted that they were working on an expansion called 'Exalted March' but have to give it up. Up until they knew that for sure, what would you have them say?
'We are working on DLC, but we don't know if we can finish it.'? That would not go over well with any fans.
Should they have promised more DLC, before they knew whether they would be able to publish it? Or should they have simply said 'No more DLC' and then if it had worked out and they had published it, the fans would rage that they lied about it, regardless of whether they are pleased or not.
No, unfortunately, it is hard to argue for your point, because they did not built up your hopes with information about something that never came, and they only said what was true: They cannot reveal what they are not sure about.
If the fans rage about promises made and broken, information that had to be changed, advertisement that does not live up to their expectations, and being 'too vague' about a game that's only in its very early stages, it will be very hard to know what you CAN say about a game without people throwing vegetables at them.
Be happy that they are not set in stone about anything yet, then you won't be disappointed.

Let me just say... I can't wait XD Now that that is out of the way, maybe it's time for some of us to step back and take a breather. We all love this franchise, that's why we follow forums and tweet with stocker like adoration... I'm with you all in that I crave the next tiniest bit of news but getting upset about it no matter it's content or absents might be taking things a bit too far. There are lots of good games out there to help fill the passing time, you could volunteer? clean the garage? Or for those of you who simply can't pull yourselves away write a fanfic XD.

Like I tell my son while baking there is nothing I can do to speed up the process. Do you want fluffy delicious moist cake? Or a pile of goop? I'm sure they'll let us know something as soon as they can. XD When ever I think David G. and company I picture them bouncing up and down like small children who simply can't wait to share with us what they've been up too. They love their fans! Their proud of DA and want to share everything with us and for us to be excited too! So please! People! Stop throwing hissy fits. The cake is not a lie... (XD hehe love that!) They will let us know when they can and as soon as they can.

Also Ponendus has linked on the owners forum.

Thank you Ponendus!

I love you fabulous DA peoples!!!!

"Suppose, in your party, you have a Gray Warden. And suppose you had a Seeker," he said, showing a male Gray Warden and female Seeker. "And you had this thing: a suit of armor, a chest piece, and it had stats and stuff."Laidlaw showed that armor set applied to the Warden, then to the Seeker, in concept art form. The armor looked slightly different on each, with "thematic" aesthetic differences applied so "they don't lose their identity in the process." Laidlaw then showed a slew of concept art, with various armor pieces from helmets to shoulder guards to bracers, then full sets, each applied to the two different classes. He also teased the possibility that players might be able to fully customize armor pieces, applying color and types of material (cloth, leather, mail) to armor sets.

This sounds promising actually. The companions can be customized akin to Origins but each armor will look unique on them. So if you had a Templar in your party and gave him plate armor, I'd imagine it'll have the Templar logo and colors on it along with other differences.

I like the idea of being able to customize armor pieces too and choose what type of material we want the armor to be.

And player decisions that carry over from game to game could be given more attention, he said.

Sounds good. Imports from Origins didn't offer much save for a few side quests and few differences in dialogue. I'd imagine an import from DA2 could have an impact on the Templars and Mages and which side controls where maybe? So if you sided with the mages in DA2, perhaps they have more ground in DA3 or something.

Good ideas but DA2 had good ideas and it didn't turn out to be that great. Let's hope these ideas are executed properly. If there's more decisions and consequences for your actions then Dragon Age 3 really could turn out to be something great so long as there's more dialogue, less combat and more interesting quests.

I hate it, because it leaves them with license to keep some characters semi-nude throughout the entire game.

Some players would like to see their companions fully dressed for battle.

@ Pasquale this horse is dead before you can even get it out of the barn dear... MODers are for some reason (the perverts XD) enthralled with naked / siminaked gaming in general. Add to this the romance that the DA games involve and it's inescapable. The games themselves tend to allow for a more PG playability but be careful what you download LOL.

What modders do is up to them.  I play on PS3, and don't do mods.

I do, however, want the game to provide some armor customization choices that would allow the player to make everyone in the party appear to be fully dressed for battle.  It's been done before, and I don't think it's too much to ask.

In that case I ... well frankly wouldn't this leave it up to player even more so than in the past how "fully dressed for battle" each companion is? I'm not knocking this concept. I in fact agree with you but I think that this will all be at the players discretion.

When they do have something to show and it turns out we dont like it what are the chances of them changing it when they have already put time and resources into it.

Shouldnt they talk with us now and have a proper dialogue now so they can get what we would like to play instead of wasting time on something we might not.

DA2 was the same way they left the details till everything was finished and when alot of people on the forums said they didnt like what Bioware was doing and the game seemed streamlined, Bioware came out and said trust us you havent seen it all, or this is our game we made it for ourselves we like it you will too.

Before you released DA2 you mentioned having voiced dialogue and a dialogue wheel, people said it will be just like mass effect, you said it wont that you have ideas to change it so it will be different, but if you would of shown us when you still had time to change it you could of got feedback of how many would be unhappy and asked us how to improve it.

How much can they reveille without dampening the excitement? I come from a place of the story behind the game and how I can change and experience that is what drives me to play. I realize that we are all not looking for the same things when we start to play but I do feel that there have been lots of room for and encouragement for game-story and mechanics both on forums and in QandA's. I would encourage patients here. Your points are valid but I think we will here from the Dev guys soon than you think.

Well for one they could of shown the new art style and the redesign of the elves and qunari. or they could of shown how you couldnt customise your companions. If they would of shown us them early in development maybe the disapointment and anger would not of been so bad because we would of known what sort of game we were getting and would not of brought it.
