I think news on future Dragon Age projects will surface before Pax. EA will be at GDC that takes place March 5 - 9. EA "Promises a "Huge Event" With Lots Of Announcements".

I say a teaser for DA:3 is days away, my friends. PAX will be the first info we get on the game. More Dragon Age 2 content is also possible.

I was at the last 2 GDC in SF... BioWare has no booth at all for the public (I think they have staffs doing the talks though, and you need the $1000 pass to attend those). While EA has a very miniscule booth on the very far end of the career center (behind the humongous Valve booth last year). Didn't check the GDC website this year since I've moved halfway across the world... not gonna bother. but if EA promises lots of announcements this GDC good for them, hopefully some will involve BioWare's works.

I think if we will hear the announcement of something related to DA at GDC, it will be a new DLC (hope for an expansion!), but we will only get to know/see it on PAX.

DA3, if it's gonna be announced this year, it will be on E3, SDComic Con or Spike's Awards.

I can only hope in DA3 one can have a Qunari as a main character, they are a main race

I doubt we will hear about DA3 but Im hoping for some kind of DA2 expansion or DLC. I'm even more excited about this because with ME3 being released on Tuesday hopefully Bioware will start focusing on DA again.

It says they will discuss "behind-the-scenes" stuff (lore stuff I guess and insider developer stuff, i.e. how such-and-such character came to be) as well as projects "outside the main game," meaning the comic, books, etc.

Sort of my reaction too. More dragon age  Behind the stuff and all the irritating non-game thing

I would be happy if we get one DLC that gives closure to Hawke. Thats all I really want and am willing to pay for it.

I read a lot of comments about hopefully getting a dlc or an expansion, but how realistic would that be? (a sincere question!).

The last dlc was in the beginning of October, and after that there were some DA related content (book, comic, upcomming anime), but nothing dlc/expansion related content information...

I really hope for some new dlc or expansion, but I am beginning to believe that it's wishful thinking.. But we will see!

(In the meantime, I recently finished ME2 and am now focussing on ME3, so I will be busy:lol:)

I would love to see a DLC or an Expansion wrap up Hawks story. Yes Im one of the anti Hawk people , BUT I am, have been and always WILL BE a Dragon Age fan  lol. I just want to see the story line get a fitting farewell before we move on. You know even a dlc epilogue with Hawk and Varric walking off into the sunset talking about were to get a drink before Varric runs off to the comic series with Alister and Izzy .... ahhhh my fan fiction gets the better of me some times :innocent: lol

So cant wait for PAX, I cant be there, I have to work But, Ill be watching online with my DA figures on my work desk. gotta get back into practice minimizing my computer screen and looking like Im working and not on the internet.

Can Bioware please partake in a game expo or something in Japan so I can go O__O? The DotS movie was co-produced with FUNimation so they sooo have a reason to come to Japan now.

I honestly think the best we can hope for is an "ending" DLC that will wrap up DA2. This seems to be Bioware's MO with these games. (Mass Effect had its Arrival DLC that lead into ME3 and DA:O had Witch Hunt that wrapped up the Warden's story, for now ;-) )

I'm guessing we will see one more DLC for DA2 after the announcement of DA3. But I think an expansion is highly unlikely. In the day and age of DLC it just doesn't make financial sense for these companies to do an "expansion" as gamers have come to know. I think we are slowly going to see expansions die off (save for MMOs) and the era of DLC ushered in.

I was looking through a Swedish site (Homeenter.com) today, when I nearly choked. There bold as brass was an announcement for Dragon Age 3 - date not known. Weather its true or not..... I personally was hoping for more DLC for DA2.
