But i am with you all I want to continue my Hawke just like with Shepard in my Mass Effect games which I worked about 5 long years on I have worked equally as hard on the Dragon Age games both of them.
I would hope in DA 3 that my hard work pays off maybe the reason they told us to keep our saves from the previous other 2 games maybe it will be like ME 3 meaning who lives & who dies and they will be shown in some compacity in DA 3 either in cameo appearance or as temporary squad mates.
I am also hoping in DA 3 it will feature a larger roster sort of like with ME 2 12 squad deal we can use both new and classic characters such as Tallis, Lelian, Morrigan heck maybe even Flemeth herself would be a requitable squadmate.
I dont whine moan and complaign like they have been about ME 3 me I love these games do you know I have beat Mass Effect 3 4 times already and each time I was Level 60.
I even got Level 60 from stratch meaning I didnt import my games just played it from nothing.
But yeah I expect we will hear something either in April or May about DAs future.

Is there going to be some official coverage? I know there are probably going to be a lot of people with cameras who'll put clips on YouTube as soon as they can, but the audio quality is often absolutely horrible, and I'd really like to be able to hear what's discussed. Any idea if a website/blog/anything is going to do transcripts/record the discussion?
Im gonna try and be there and get it all .... but with my work schedual I may be on the YouTube traina s well <_<. Yeah .... ummm and official link or maybe something at the end of PAX that we could watch please. Like something on BioWare Tv mayebe

Hopefully DA3 since there is no DA2 Expansion!
it's been hinted at on Twitter, Laidlaw even said (more or less) combining what people loved about DA:O and DA2. a (imo there are very few good bits in DA2 when comparing to DA:O e.g. voiced protagonist I guess and maybe even the framed narrative which I personally liked though others might not, and the art style wouldn't change I guess) and making DA3. I.e. Warden + Hawke + new hero (it's been suggested it will be third person with latter two making an appearance)= DA3 maybe I dunno i'm basing all that on a reply to someone on twitter.

Ya I second this question if there's goin to be any official coverage. I live in WY so that would be quit the trip this time of year LOL but I am really really interested to hear of any/all info about DA. Hearing it 2nd or third hand makes me leary, I prefer first hand lol.

Living in scotland i'm afraid to say i wont be making pax, but i just wanted to express my views about dragonage 3. First please keep the combat like dragonage 2 it was much more fluid and easier obviously keep the control wheel. Armour especially if your a mage kicking about in robes is a little out dated, give us some real armour or at least bring back the arcane warrior ability, while on the subject of armour dragonage 2's armour was really a bit random unlike dragonages iron to steel to silverite etc. so i would keep that aspect of dragonage. The map probably one of the biggest problems of dragonage 2 it was no where near the size of dragonage never mind some of your bigger rpg's like fallout, skyrim and Amalur.
Dragonage 2
Combat
Graphics
leveling up
voiced protagonist
chat between squad
Dragonage
Map size
Arcane Warrior
leveling up of armour
Party Camp
mre squad mates
Ability to choose human, elf or dwarf

there is no telling how long Dragon Age 3 has really been in devolopment.
Since the end of the last one in the franchise.

Developers always begin pre-production of a sequel when the preceeding title launches, and often before that. Just because DLC was being made doesn't mean DA2 was the only thing on the agenda.
No kidding. The numbers of people who apparently seriously believe that Bioware has only just begun developing DA3 is amazing. It's probably been in some stage of development for months now.
