I'm a brand new user, and I ran into a problem visiting Redcliffe.  Every time, it says it's unable to load area and returns me to the menu.  I have a couple of mods installed, mostly the Karma Origins Companions mod, plus a few equipment items, but I tried disabling all of them, and it still refuses to load.  I haven't installed any of the game patches yet, though I have 1.05 ready to load.  Here's my technical data:

Mods (some, not all) can corrupt installations. It is possible you may need to remove (not just disable) the mods completely before trying again. If that fails there's not much choice other than unistall the game and re-install.

When playing with mods, always thoroughly test after adding each individual mod before adding another. That way you'll figure out what causes problems and what doesn't.

Gameplay-wise 1.05 doesn't really change over 1.04, but it does help with certain performance and authentication issues.
