But i'm a wordsmith, writing papers is...a joke for me, the 4 page paper i need to write will take less than an hour of research, about 15 minutes to write and another five to revise.

If I can't convince my professors to allow me to skip busywork I fail the course.. I refuse to do busy work. It doesn't happen very often though, i usually look at the sylabus and go by and speak to the professor about their grading ruberic at the begining of the semester and drop the class if they're going to be a douche bag about it.


I love nothing more in the world that a grading ruberic that looks like the following

Minor Paper one: 5%
Mid term: 40%
Minor Paper two: 5%
Term Paper: 10%
Final: 40%

Go to law school.  75% of the classes use the following grading ruberic:

Final: 100%

Statistics can be used for political reasons. There may be ethnic differences in education performance, but that is subject to many variables such as economic level, access to quality education, social background, and many other social and political factors.

What I cannot tolerate, is how racists (or other hate groups) use stats to justify their bigotry while ignoring the contextual analysis.

I suggest we get back to the actual thread discussion before this becomes a KKK love-in.

I may be overreacting, but anyone spreading any sort of racist ideology, no matter what his or her reasons are, are suspects as far as I am concerned. You have to see, saying something like this gives people ideas. Ideas about that certain people may have a point. And I'd rather not say something that gives people ideas that will lead to no good results. Anyway, it doesn't matter to me who is smarter or faster or stronger because all people should be equal. So what is the point of such statstics or researches? To cause trouble if you asked me. Because nothing good can come from it.

I am -just- playing devils advocate here, so please tell me to shut up if you like.

But, the problem with that is we AREN"T equal...and I think thats one of the biggest problems in society...everybody WANTS to be equal, and pretending we are is easier to deal with, than accepting we aren't. 


Any ways, I'm okay with dropping the topic.

Dealing with the passing time will most likely wind up being me watching TV shows i downloaded months and months ago that i never watched, or watching movies i obtained in similar fashion.
