True, I doubt I'll succeed either.

In response to your earlier comment I think their aim is to show that people have the power to vote with their pockets buy not buying copyrighted content for one month to detract from their profits for that month rather than avoiding copyrighted material outright forever.

I think it is commonly established that people vote with their wallet for the cheapest solution. That they do have the power I believe, but I honestly doubt they will ever actually use it.

Muezick, I'm pretty sure I've told you this before, but please stop swearing in the forums.

I have always wondered why there's no swearing in the forums...
The games do contain profanity and they are aimed at "Mature" crowds, not children so why is swearing on the forums a problem?
Curious, nothing more :P

Because the games should not be sold/bought for minors. I know if they want it they'll get it anyway but still that's the intention of the rating system.

However, there is no way to Police this on the net. Any child can create an account and read the comments.

Basically it's a rule and they can enforce it however they want....and why not?:police:

It's going to be a very long weekend indeed. Though probably objectively not longer than any other. I'd advice doing something fun because time passes faster that way.

Yeah but finding something fun to do is soooooooooo hard when the FUNNEST thing you can think of doing is playing mass effect 3, which comes out AFTER the longest weekend of all time.

I am not sure how old you are but if you are old enough all other fails I suggest alcohol.

oh my GOD YOU ARE RIGHT

OFF TO THE LIQUOR STORE

I agree, same with political sway, but people never bother.

Side note I think I posted half a post that never intended to, I'm looking for it but it seems to be hiding.

Hard liquor and programming C. That's the only way I found to survive those way too long days before Skyrim was released. Going to adopt the same tactics this time.

If it was just the weekend it wouldn't be so bad, I've got a birthday party to go and Celtic are playing Aberdeen but Monday through Friday will be abysmal.

SO...

What are YOU doing Arbiter156, to pass the time?

Atm im writing an essay, whilst reading the BSN. im sorry for seeming like some sort of dictator, but issues like this must be brought under control before the thread is ruined, if  i didnt take some sort of action its only a matter of time before it ignites.

I wish you would go yell at everyone over at the "From Ashes" thread. (:

Well good luck with that and I advise you to get any school work done as soon as possible, doing school, well work, in general tend to extend our perception of time sadly, quite a bummer really. perhaps in the mean, free time, you could play the likes of Deus Ex, the ending style is basically that one, you know to get acquainted once you reach the final point.

Well, good day, or as to say it in the local forum language

Sadly, on the longest weekend in history... I have to work.

Working weekends isn't normally a pain to someone who has no soul, but alas, this one weekend will be grueling. As if my shift didn't pass slow enough already...

I can't opt for the trusty bucket of sleep-aids next to the bed and basic nourishment on the nightstand trick this go around, however fortunate or unfortunate that is.

^^ And here we have it, ladies and gentleman - an authentic grunt from the primordial swamp of racism.

Just to note that when the whole racist theme began to emerge on this post, I actually reported to the mods and asked them to do something about the inflammatory nature of some of the posters on this thread, but none of the mods replied. I have to say that I am extremely disgusted at Bioware's hypocrisy - they state, at the top of the forum, how they will have a "zero tolerance policy on any form of abuse towards staff, moderators or other Community members", yet they have done nothing to moderate or issue warnings to people who have posted racist commentaries on this thread.

They probably didn't see this yet, but don't worry, they will be here soon enough.

Your rage makes me gufaw. A deep, hearty gufaw that booms forth from the pure amusment of silly people.

I've never seen Mr. Woo ban anyone for no reason at all. He's a cool dude, bro. He's simply stating that he could if he wanted to, since a bunch of people in this thread lack common sense/decency and even the faintest measure of maturity.
