Gay Maleshep? When did this happen? WTF!

Pre-Order CANCEL....Oh wait, it's optional, phew.

How does that old saying go again "He who doth protest too much", something like that.

Arachnaphobes don't want skyrim for it's spiders, why shouldn't homophobes have the same right?

LOL. I still think the arachnophobia mod request was doing as a troll... I am terrified of  high open spaces but I dont get freaked out climbing mountains and the like in video games. Im not requesting mods that remove the mountains and skyscrapers from games because Im scared of heights. :P

As for the OP... his loss. He wants to be - as Ron White put it - useless, then have at it! Be your badass homophobic self! :D

I paid for the game in full for digital deluxe ($79.99), and just saw that article on kotaku of a gay male Shepard romance and seriously want my money back? No I am not trolling so save your troll comments to yourselves.

Either A, you made this post for attention, or B, you're seriously so dumb you can't figure out how to cancel an order.

Not sure which is worse honestly. Let's go with A. Get some friends so you don't have to seek attention from strangers.

Now I have seen it all.

The OP is obvious looking for attention.....because cancelling an order is not hard and I sure as **** wouldn't come here to ask folks on THESE boards for help, fully stating my reason for doing so in the process. Hell, most of the folks on these boards are attention ****s. "If I don't get my way, I'm cancelling and if you don't agree, you deserve a written lashing! Fear my prose!."

Having said that, judging by the responses, I am so glad I don't spend a whole lot of my time listening to most of you.
Just because a person doesn't agree with a life-style or an expression of said lifestyle doesn't make them a homophobe. Some of you need to get off of your pretentious, high horses and practice what you preach.

Live and let live.

Origin does not give you a clear way to cancell your orders. If you didn't know anything about it you would need to ask. Just because he doesn't know doesn't mean he is an attention seeker.

A moderately logical thinking person could figure it out, obvious troll is obvious.

Rude.....btw have you utilized Origin help chat? If not you would be surprised how awful and unhelpful it is, I spent hours on end today trying to resolve an issue with Bring Down the Sky DLC and Windows7 kept getting go here click link and download and enter key it will work I assure you.....yeah no ended up looking through the forums HERE @ BSN to find a solution to a problem the consumer shouldn't have to go through all the hoops to resolve an issue the consumer did not create. Money is money and while some may have more than others in times like these you shouldn't spend it unless you're confident in your choice, the OP made a choice that as an individual is fully entitled to do period.

Regarding as to why, let's not forget Dynasty Warr..err I mean Dragon Age 2, in the time I spent playing it, I noticed as a player/character I'm punished at times for not choosing dialog that would in turn be flirtatious and such towards a character of the same sex, and it seemed like everyone was at the very least bi or as Butters would say bi-curious. To me in my very own opinion much of it felt forced. However to me it's a minor annoyance but not a deal breaker, I just hope there isn't a negative impact by opting away from Freddie making a pass at me.

So no one is allowed to question anymore? No one is allowed not to know? No one is allowed to ask for asistance? BSN is degrading and this is why.

You want to cancel your Pre Order because there's a small tiny part of the game where you can choose to enter in a homosexual-relationship with a minor character that's not even a squad-member?

What's this, people aren't entitled to their own opinion? And shouldn't be allowed to spend their money how they want?

Arachnaphobes don't want skyrim for it's spiders, why shouldn't homophobes have the same right?

Not that I disagree with your actual argument, but in Skyrim those huge spiders were completely unavoidable--even as early on as the tutorial. ME3's gay option is a small, completely optional sidequest that is just one of many romance options, and is something you actively have to work for.

It's always been like this. A year ago it had twice the threads popping up and four times the comments going at any give time than now. Rude people drive away people who want good forums, just how it is.

As for OP, well done.

I for one will be finding every possible way to kill off said squadmate. Just like I did with Ashley.

I don't care if there is a gay crew member, or if shepard was gay from the frist game. But drastically changing things around just to peak people's interest? That is just extremely stupid and I refuse to give EA/Bioware after this. I came to my senses and overlooked everything else I hated about the game they keep changing, but this is just too much now. If they want a dating sim to express their open minded approach then make one. Giving the option of my character to turn gay all of a sudden is just making the game feel less real. The first game should have made him bi, not change it all of sudden for this game just to get numbers. They don't refund EA card purchases apparantly now I am stuck with a game I will not play, well done EA 79.99 lost.
