(SPOILERS for anyone who hasn't seen/played the demo)
In a recent interview (I think it was one of the new ones from G4), Mac Walters said that if you import a Shepard, when you first meet Ash/Kaidan, you get to talk to them a bit and see what they've been up to, as opposed to a brief intro for new players. Hopefully, he means when you first encounter them as it would make that moment far better imo. Does anyone know if this is, for sure, the case?
