Best Comp for Gold and why?

My opinion: Asari Adept (for stasis)
Turian Sentinel (Tanking class, can soak up dmg, and provide medium dps, as well as CC)
Salarian Infiltrator (Revives under fire and strong sniper dps)
Drell Vanguard (Stong power, Rapes Gaurdians and great enemy distraction, especially an Atlas)
Stasis is great for phantoms and everything else so the Adept needs to be Asari
The Sentinel Needs to be Turian over Krogan because Krogans use grenades where Turians have reuseable abilites which is much better in the long run.
The infiltrator can be which ever but the Salarians have proxy mines which are great for watching flanks or last man standing situations.
The Vangaurd needs to be Drell because overcharge makes a vangaurd to vulnerable. Pull allows you to rip shields off of gaurdians, and charge lets you get in an atlas' face when need be. It is also great for cross map revives.

Thanks a lot guys I look forward to seeing your responses.

Solarian Infiltrator - Revive, Sniping targets the AA locks down, and makes assassinate and activate objectives easy.
Turian Sentinel - Tank with Overcharge stun spam.
Human Engineer - Overchatge stun spam and drones for flushing nemesis out of cover.

Turian Sentinel - (Carnifex, Katana) - Overload is great CC, tanky, and can combo warp with the Asari Adept.
Two Salarian Infiltrators - (Widow) - Take Power Efficiency module, and the Sniper Rifle weight reduction power to mitigate the Widow's weight. The reasoning on the widow is that it is just as good as the mantis in all situations except that you can kill Atlases super quick between 2x Energy Drain, Overload, and two widows
This group would want to stick together and pick enemies off at range. The Turian can help protect everyone in CQC, but as a general rule of thumb they'd want to just pick enemies off and retreat if they start to get overwhelmed.

Asari adepts and salarian infiltrators, every other class doesnt even come close. I would say add a human vanguard but they get stomped on gold.
I like it but its too boring and repedative. stun headshot stun headshot.... repeat 500 times

if you have one good adept you should never need 2. Only bad teams need 2. You sacrifice too much dps bringing two as well

Horrible set-up. Phantoms and other enemeis become immune to Stasis after you stasis'ed them three times. With such a set-up, chances are good that three Adepts will more or less cast their Stasis on a Phantom simultanously, so if you can't put it down during that one Stasis, it's immune until you whittled it down (or it took you down, whatever's first).

1. Biotic class Crowd Controller
2. Tech class Defense Stripper
3. Long Range Weapon Specialist and Medic
4. Close Range Weapon Specialist and Tank
1. Asari Adept
2. Human Engineer
3. Salarian Infiltrator
4. Human Vanguard
This group should be able to handle any faction at any difficulty. Another good example group that follows this layout would be.
1. Drell Adept
2. Turian Sentinel
3. Quarian Infiltrator
4. Krogan Soldier

Engineers, Sentinels (especially Turian), Adepts (especially Asari) and Infiltrators (especially Salarians) are way better at their specific roles. Which is kinda sad, because every single Gold run is really exactly the same as the previous one (no wait, you can experience around with different kinds of ammo!).

For example an asari adept will mop the floor with a phantom, but from what people could say, a banshee will be IMUNE to stasis, making a asari adept not so much optimal for a gold reaper run. (Conjucture) A Human engineer may have it easy against Cerberus troops, but against geth a quarian may be better.
So it's a little early to say wich is the optimal composition for gold, while we don't know how the others enemies are.
