A perfect score already? That's troublesome. Since I'm a flawed player, I can easily rationalize playing a flawed game. But a perfect game, is well, just out of my reach. Good thing I already cancelled my pre-order.

Since when was a 9 or 9.5 a bad score? Hell I give any game a chance as long as the scores are above average.

IGN? The same IGN that let's their delusional PS3 fanboy rate PS3 exclusives? And said person happens to give these games a perfect 10(anyone who has played Uncharted 3 knows it wasn't anywhere near a perfect game, wasn't even better than Uncharted 2). They have no credibility anymore.

I don't trust game reviews, I prefer to have my own opinion on a game. Although I think Mass Effect 3 is going to be a good game, I want to get a chance to play it before making a final verdict.
( For instance, Modern Warfare 3 is a very good example of why you shouldn't trust "professional" reviews)

ME3 gameplaywise: 9

9+5 = 14
14/2 = 7

I have one thing to say about this topic: It is heart-breaking, but this is likely Bioware's last saga of quality... they seem to be cutting much of the original talent loose. Sad...

Thread gets a 5/10, simply because people actually took the bait. Personally, I'd give the thread a 3/10. Really unimaginative.

On-topic, the game will probably be deserving of a 6-7 rating (and that's being generous). No game is perfect, thus no game should be given a "10". People are generally too generous with their score.

So far, I like what I've seen in ME3. But until I've actually played the finished product, the highest score I will give is a N/A. That's the way I am with all games, and I thinks it's a shame people are complaining about review scores when a game isn't even out yet.
