I don't see why we should expect EA or Bioware to know exactly what your problem is. Maybe 10% of the problems reported were known beforehand, and the rest they are just finding out as you report them. CS representitives are not engineers and the two teams arn't even in the same time zone. I wouldn't expect everything to be fixed so soon. Maybe they don't have a solution for you yet.

A lot of things are working for 99% of everyone else and for some reason your specific problem may be because of hardware (heat, too old), conflicting software (AVG for example), drivers (video, sound, etc), BIOS, accounts (didn't follow the steps, used wrong account), corrupt files, user error (often the case), or even misunderstanding (yes your buffs are supposed to run out when you run out of stamina). I've not run into one A or even B level bug in 100 hours of playtime.

Keep your fingers crossed fella, I too played for over 150 hrs without so much as a blink, wandering in a "non-linear" fashion all over Ferelden, even did a core quest out of order (according to the prima guide), which showed up later(present) BUT BAM! Suddenly things have went amiss, I can't get through the landsmeet cutscenes(battles wern't a problem)
memory isn't a problem, machines not overheating, tried every thing I thought might work and everything I picked up off the forums that seemed relevant, but nothing, ships dead in the water mate. Waitin for a friendly vessel to pass , into the night, eerily quiet now, distant moaning.

Point is, you've been lucky and maybe your luck will hold up, but if the moans suddenly seem to be getting closer, guess you'll know your luck ran out too.

Haha. And to think, I thought they just hated me. they should at least post something on the forums to show that they're alive and working around the issues. I've seen free downloadable games that had better customer support than this game. Thats kinda sad :(

This is the truth.

List one freely downloadable game that is even close to as advanced and developed as this.

Also, list one that was released simultaneously on PC, XBOX360, and PS3. Which is a first for Bioware and likely is producing an entirely new set of issues. For one, that is at least 3 different patch paths they need to work on. If the issue that needs to be patched effects all 3 platforms then it is something that may require 3 different approaches to the patch. The exception would be things like scripting, textures, etc.

So, this is a new beast when it comes to support from Bioware. Overall, it runs pretty well. We all play it but, most of us eventually encounter some problem. I've encountered can't talk to felix, I've had a few crashes to desktop, and my load times are getting ridiculous but, I am 70+ hours into the game. So overall for how recent it was released it is running far better than most products.

Definitely not something that can be compared to a free download.
