Any ending, bittersweet or otherwise can be great IF it's presented in the right way. I judge games, movies, music, books and so on only AFTER I have experienced the entirety of the product. It's very narrow minded and idiotic to say the game will suck just because the ending might be bad to you. Mass Effect has ALWAYS been about the characters we meet and the things we do with them. The interactions and the choices made during those moments.

Like I said in a previous post, this is war and war is ugly even at the best of times. To be honest, bittersweet sounds like the only logical ending possible for a war that the races of the galaxy are now into together. Even if I don't particularly like how my story ends, I will find a reason to at least applaud my journey and the characters therein for spending three games and hundreds of hours getting to know and enjoy.
