Why are you knobs raging about the endings?

And it absolutely doesn't make sense that like moths to a flame you fools would skip to the very end of the book without the context of the pages in between. And you call yourselves among the biggest fans?
I guess it just doesn't make sense to me. Did the ending have to be EXACTLY as you envisioned it for the game to live up to your lofty ideals? Because it's seeming that way to me.
I don't even know what I'm doing in this board. I misclicked. Spoilers, do not want.

I also futilely hoped it wouldn't center around a last minute decision and a McGuffin. But that was a losing battle from the first game.

Just accept the facts. Bioware has lied to the fans they supposedly care about, and the story's conclusion stinks.

You haven't even played the game yet. Or at least I'm willing to bet that 99% of you haven't!

In my point of view it's nostalgia, ME1 set the stage for things and moreover set a standard that I felt would carry on through the trilogy but that didn't happen, I dealt with it, many things really rubbed me the wrong way and truthfully the only reason I've stuck around for ME3 is because of my fondness of ME1(and the writings of Drew Karpyshyn), and I just want to see it concluded, and after that, well I have no interest in investing any more of my money with BioWare, not for any ME IP spinoffs or frankly any DA games especially not after DA2. But anyways as with anything interactive you end up investing time, and at those times you may have felt blissfully immersed in those interactive experiences, so it's not so cut and dry when facing aspects you feel are negative or bad for your continued experience or participation.
Not everyone has been on board since Mac Walters took the lead on the writing(which still boggles my mind after seeing some of the comics and the things the guy says to try and plug them geez), not everyone wants cliche, but not everyone wants this experience to conclude on a sour note, not only as fans but as consumers we've been told so many times all of our choices and all of our time spent playing in the ME universe would pay off and be worth it(I'm paraphrasing) and when you write a check that big you had best be sure your product caters to as many as possible, and it seems to me that overall there is alot of dissapointment and the game isn't even out yet, if it were me I'd be losing alot of sleep over the fallout which is sure to come.
There is no way to dispute what info is out about the endings which lets face it at this point we shouldve seen this coming a mile away, I knew the end wouldnt be pretty, but really did they have to go as far as what's been reported?
Maybe BW wants to alienate alot of people idk lol.

Judging by your name, you're not even a reasonable person! Your opinion is called into question. What exactly did Bioware lie about? Did Bioware lie by not using the ending you wanted?Multiplayer optional says...
I have played the game. The spoilers are real, and practically nothing of significance was changed from the private beta leaks.
Just accept the facts. Bioware has lied to the fans they supposedly care about, and the story's conclusion stinks.
I am decidedly not being condescending. Just blunt. Just try to tell me it isn't juvenile to be angry about a story not ending the way you wanted it to.

While, the board will then be finally filled with reasonable and civil tongued individuals who after playing the game will get the context of the pages in between and love the endings.
All i am saying is just for pity's sake please let us continue this foolishness a few more days. I am absolutely certain, once the game is out all will be well @bsn and all of us pathetic knobs will finally get what we deserve.

If they're knobs than you're a tool for demanding less quality just to spite others that just want Bioware to return to their quality of old.

Tell that to the guy's spamming the general thread about how much ME3 suck and giving out spoilers in the no spoiler thread.

So am i. As long as the story will have ending with some dose of logic (for example they won't put things/people where they shouldn't have been just to fill cinematics) i will accept it no matter what. If it will be as epic as whole saga (though ME2 had many major flaws, script related) it will be ok.
What I can't stand is if BW will try to treat us like "knobs" mentioned. There was one politician in my country who made some really bad press for sake of political campaign and was caught saying "don't worry, stupid people will buy it". He is not so eager to say that now.
BW. We are not stupid. And karma is a... u know.
