Damn it, I left her in the bedroom and went searching all over the lower parts of the city. That's not what she wanted?

Liara: You're doing it wrong.

Well, that's disappointing.

Might be hard with Vega staring as Ned Beatty in Deliverance planet:unsure:

God, don't make me think about that.

I still think the "good" ending should have a Varren chewing on Jokers bitten off leg, since it's his dam fault the Normandy is on Deliverance planet.

Joker's kids in a few generations.

I just died of laughter over that picture. I assure you, no matter how much the supposed (and seemingly true) endings disappoint me, you sir have made up for it.

But I'm glad someone else noticed the Molyneux thing as well... I remember since the days of Black and White 2 Molyneux has been promising things that havent even remotely reflected any truth in the final game. I'd like to say I have more faith in Casey Hudson (and I do, he seems like a genuinely good guy who honestly cares about this franchise), but I cant help but drawing the same parallels if this trend continues.

Its due to the fact the whole series was based on choices. At the last minute they take it away, and tell the fans guess what your choices really didn't matter.

After DA2 and now ME3, the fan base blacklash is going to be biblical. Think of all the people in the LI forums they are going to Rage like no tomorrow. Honestly, I'll be one of them. And its because, Bioware took away my choices from two different game and howevr many DLC's.

In the end everything you ever cared about is trivialised as a war asset to save Earth, a single planet we've never been given the chance to gain an emotional connection to in the Mass Effect Universe. Yes I'm sure the journey will be lovely (assuming people will be happy with how the characters are presented and the game's actual missions) but in the end the price is too high.

I'm sure people would have rather blown up the SOL system with the majority of the reapers in it to send out an energy wave to shut down the reapers. To me that would have factored better in with the original vision games tone of who is more important to you humanity or the galaxy at large?

Sacrifice the galaxy or sacrifice earth

Sacrifice Shepard or sacrifice your crew

With high war assets allowing you to have avoid 3 of the above.

That would give the player true moral choices at the end.

yeah you should have to sacrifice something but why do you have to sacrifice everything? Player should be able to choose what matters the most to him / her and save it.

yeah you should have to sacrifice something but why do you have to sacrifice everything?

Its sad, because all the writers seem to have done is go back to 1990's Deus Ex game to get their endings.

Bet thats the reason they came up with the system in the first place. they must be priding themselves for coming up with such a brilliant solution to "thousands of variables" that can be imported into the game<_<.

And, if it actually had an impact on the ending, it would have been a rather decent system. as it stands... :pinched:

How so? Don't the relays break anyway? How is being stranded mutants better than being plain stranded?

That's an even worse fate for Shepard than Garrus and Tali would have starving to deah.

How can the ending be more brutal if the side quests are not completed? Sheppard is stuck alone or dead, the crew is stuck like "Lost" on some planet with no way home. But this is the good ending. I might as well run around the Normandy, putting a bullet in the back of my crews head say " trust me, I'm saving you from the good ending".

In the brutal ending, a dog comes up and urinates on Shepard's lifeless corpse.

I just pissed myself laughing at this.

Somehow, this thread brought back my faith in humanity. Wow, guys, thank you for existing
(Bioware? That was not for you).
Also? Either Merge or Control Reapers, make them fix the relays and then point them towards the closest black hole

That's why I'm going with the control ending and headcanoning that the Gilligan's Planet/Deliverance Planet never happened.

Shepard becomes Reaper God, repairs the relays and brings the crew back home without turning everyone in the galaxy into cyborgs without their knowledge.

The ending is pretty definitive just as an FYI...
