Actually the only ending where EDI survives is the merge ending (according to spoilers which i believe except for the colony part) -where she gets to be halfhuman, so she can survive as human

Do you think it works the other way? I got the assumption that organics will get 
magically
fused with Reaper tech, not the other way around. I think EDI is screwed either way

I really feel sorry for those artists on deviant art who spend hours painting Shepard, Joker, Liara, Tali, Garrus together as couples only to find out that they are never together or found someone else. This is going to backfire on bioware's big time.

Yea, no love for anyone in ME3, I don't know what BW have been thinking when they decided this - most of the fans play ME for characters not so much for the main story.

I am holding my judgement till I see the way everything works in endings for myself, but, truth be told, I WILL do everything to give those two a happy ending

How many endings this game has?? Each one for one character? I thought only two? So what are these "ending" everyone here is talking about and what is shown on the pic? I'm confused.

The game has "three" endings [for Shepard anyways], with varying levels of destruction.

No matter what happens, the Normandy always crashes and the relays always explode. Depending on your score and what ending you chose, everyone will die on the Normandy, or several characters will survive. [And they walk out of the ship based on your friendship score.]

I believe EDI only survives in the merge ending. Possibly in the control, but definitely not the destroy ending. So that is likely a scene from the Normandy crash with the merge.

No matter what happens, the epilogue is always the same, taking place on the same planet that the Normandy crashes on. Presumably anyways, that picture certainly looks like it has the same planet and moon in the background.

Nope, humans become more like computers, AI become more like humans with the help of Shepard's DNA and Green Reaper Space Magics (and a giant laser beam...can't forget that).

Yeah I was working on some GarrusxFemShep fanfics a few weeks ago, but to hell with that now XD
Bioware successfully squashed many people's dreams.

I am about halfway through and I have thoroughly enjoyed subverting the EDI/Joker "romance." So yes, you can totally ****block that hookup if you want.

If you wanna be especially heinous, support the relationship then choose the destroy ending.
