A quick message I have also posted this exact thing on EA's origin website as I feel it is applicalble to both although I don't know which is best so if you don't want a duplicate post feel free to remove one of them but I felt that really this needed to be said to both EA and Bioware directly hence the double post. So I shall start off at the beginning and say that this is in no way directed towards anyone or anything in particular but that really I have feelings of anger and disappointment.
 
I like many other people lost out on their pre-ordered copy of mass effect 3 due to the "GAME" fiasco. I had an N7 PC version ordered and I lost it. This is even more upsetting when you see how many copies there are on eBay and I feel that as a fan I have lost out. And yet many other people are going to make lots of money out of this.
 
So having lost my copy I went to the origin website to order the premium edition from there. I wanted it to be pre-ordered so I could get the bonus gear and I really would like all the n7 stuff so even though the digital version is nowhere near as good as the physical copy I had no choice. Then I was disappointed to learn that the digital version is as expensive as what I was going to be paying for the retail version which comes with actual physical things so I am now paying for less. Even better.
 
Fortunately before I paid I decided to load up origin and I am glad I did because origin would not open because the update is so bugged. So I tried uninstalling origin and downloading it fresh only to discover that instead of being able to directly download the updated version I have to go and download the old one and go through the broken patching system again, which is a bizarre situation at best. So with that failed I tried the EA “connect with us” tech support the first time giving me good service but no solution the second one giving me bad service and the advice to go through my task manager and close every program whose user is my p.c. user account except for explorer which also didn't work. I have to say it is pretty horrendous that any program is so intrusive that I it can't run unless everything else on your computer is off including your firewall and antivirus.
 
Anyway after a few hours wasted I checked the forums and eventually found a solution that worked here, of which I am very grateful, and I would recommend anyone who has a problem to go to this page

 But all in all a pretty horrendous time for what is effectively me simply wanting to buy a game. I am sorry the first bit is off topic but really it is the background that I felt needed to be explained. As I said this is not directed at anyone but somewhere and probably in many somewheres (not a word I know but should be) a lot of things have gone wrong and I and many other fans have suffered.
 
Not really feedback or advice I know but I felt that I needed to make the situation I have been through known as I am sure there are many people who have experienced some if not all of what I have.

You could've pre-ordered the Game on other Websites, Amazon for Example.

Yes but that is using the power of hindsight. Was I supposed to know that GAME was going to have these problems? It is the exact same situation if I had ordered the game from Amazon as you suggested and they had gone bankrupt. You are advising me to do something that could just of easily resulted in the situation that I am in as thought I made the wrong decision and yet you or I can only know that in hindsight, and yet we couldn’t have known that months ago, when I and many other people pre-ordered Mass Effect 3.

I don't know where you have or where you are getting your copy of the game from but have you in anyway tried to put yourself in the shoes of me or the thousands of other people who are in the same position as me?
