mmo - just like TOR and maybe even as bad..
mmo - like SWG (Sandbox) would be much better for this universe than another Themepark one

Ouch. Just knowing that the "emotional component" of Shep's human relationships to his crew and team and LI get PERMANENTLY SEVERED in every ending makes me wonder what exactly they thought they were creating by building all of those emotional connections between characters over the course of three games only to destroy them at the end regardless of any choice I make as a player. Very disheartening.

I'm still having a hard time believing that they wrote out the ending, animated them, and had people test on their responses, and at no point did someone go, "this is horrible".
Maybe a few did, but not enough? I can't imagine they showed the endings to a bunch of actual ME players -- it would have leaked all over. So, with no attachment to the characters or their connections, who cares how "artistic" the ending is to them?

Is that a real quote?
I mean, did Mac actually say those words in that order with that grammar?

"You can have some kind of ending and victory, but it’ll be a lot more brutal and minimal relative to if you do a lot of stuff. If you really build a lot of stuff and bring people to your side and rally the entire galaxy around you, and you come into the end game with that, then you’ll get an amazing, very definitive ending."

Oh it's "special" all right.I also think we're taking some interesting creative challenges with the story that a lot of people might not expect us to. But being the final chapter in Commander Shepard's story, I think we're doing some pretty special things with where we're going with music and the story, and what you're going to see and feel and experience as Commander Shepard in Mass Effect 3.

CH: I think one of the things that’s really fun and surprising for us is the degree to which people responded to character-based storytelling. At this point, people need to know what’s going to happen with these characters, they need to know what’s going to happen in the end.
GB: Like every one of them.
CH: Yeah, yeah, exactly.

I'll wait and see in regards to the ME3 endings, but I'm also putting on my flame-retardant suit next week. If they are really as unsatisfactory as implied to the majority of the forumgoers, the outrage that's happened up to now will just have been a warm-up.
At least CCP are back on the right track again. *cracks whip*

Now, BioWare Co-Founder Dr. Ray Muzyka has talked about the ending, saying that “Pretty much everything that people want to see wrapped up, or to be given answers, will be.”
AHAHAHHAH! And by hahahah i mean i'm so sad.
http://news.softpedi...ys-255935.shtml
also.
Muzyka also shared his own experience with the game’s ending, saying that, “I just finished an end to end playthrough, for me the ending was the most satisfying of any game I’ve ever played… the decisions you make in this game are epic.”
