Long story short, the leak was a really bad thing to happen, the space release was a really bad marketing idea to do, they shouldn't have enabled pre-load.
As for marketing, stop acting like anyone is surprised. The bull**** started with the very first Mass Effect 2 trailer where Legion was suggested as an important character... it NEVER stopped after that.

Edit: Essentially you're asking for "And then Tali got her house on the homeworld, Garrus finally finished his calibrations, and everyone lived happily ever after. TEH END"
Yes, I do.
Since the next ME game will be in the future where Mass Relays work again (or something equivalent to be called "Mass Effect" again), I'd like to have some closure for my squadmates too. Is that so bad?

A Deus Ex Machina god bolt to destroy all the enemy in one fell swoop isn't cheesy?
Anything can be made to look cheesy if you withold enough information....
What I've yet to understand is why - keeping in all the interesting non-happy endings - it's somehow impossible to have one that doesn't result in the Normandy crashing. What about the actual choices Shephard makes means the Normany MUST crash there?
There is no reason. It's arbitrary, done for false drama. 'Different' doesn't mean 'better' and 'dark' doesn't mean 'deep'.
What else are you going to complain that is arbitrary? I could look back to Mass Effect and complain about how we should have a way to save both Ash and Kaidan... or not kill Benezia... or other things that are also "done for false drama".
