A Shot In The Dark

The games were given out for free so it's not like the people who got those editions lose any money.
What if they modified some flags and made it so that you get those lame .bink movies regardless of your choices?
The CGI movies would be non-imports. What if there are TRUE endings made of in-engine cutscenes but completely absent from the space editions?
Is that Xolite or whatever person lying?
Is this possible or am I grasping at straws?

Also, I am disappointed to see no Ozzy in this thread.

Okay so everyone one is ranting and ravong about how the endings suck and Bioware has screwed us over but this is not about that. Howvwer has anyone considered the possibility that the Space Editions before being launched might have been tampered with to preserve the endings? They could have made the people who obtained those discs sign a contract of sorts not to reveal anything about the game but on top of that altered the endings

That would be great.
I think it maybe too expensive and time and resources consuming. That could be just a beta (or slightly modified version of what leaked in autumn), devs had some tro-three months to change the ending, not the whole game...
But with each passing day and hour thinking about the endings, well, my healt still believes, but logic tells otherwise.

So far, what the leakers are saying is in the leaked script and the bink videos and normandy stranded pictures are confirmed.
About the space edition to have locked/absent stuff, that would be bad marketing.

or wait until others post it on youtube, and then decide if it's worth 60 bucks or 10. I am not adverse to waiting a couple months to save 50 bucks. They have much better shooters on the market for me to use "gameplay" as a reason to pay full price.

Yes, they are confirmed, but binks and scripts are from the "leaked" PC version, and screenshots made using Space Edition.Ghost Rider LSOV wrote...

It wouldn't be bad marketing, it would be just punch into the face of fans, in addition it would be black PR if true and really good PR move if leaked and SE versions were only created for heating up the tension.
Imagine how sales will rise up after the leaked info and SE would turn into beta/wrong version of the game.
I still hope this whole situation with endings to be just a cruel joke, and we'll see some addtional/changed endings after 6th of march.

How could Xolite be lying? We asked him to post pics from his TV of the perfect ending and he did.
