Self-explanatory. Let's see if the vocal group is minority or majority.

Here's the poll:

Yes. Stories have so much more to them than endings.

I know how Lord of the Rings ends, yet I still read it at least once a year. I watch movies that I know how end because they're good movies.

Nah, my bro is getting it and he hasn't read the leaks. He assumes that there is a happy ending and when I told him all the endings are bad/grimdark he told me that he thinks the players just screwed up to get the best ending.

He's going to be angry when he beats the game.

I admit I'm now reconsidering my 85 dollar purchase of the collectors PC version though.

I'm not that thrilled about the endings but I will still buy it because everything else looks brilliant

Yeah. I think the endings are a decent way to end Shep's saga. It certainly makes it slightly more difficult for more money to be made on the series thanks EA.

Not now. I will see what the reviews say.

The better question would be, "will you keep your preorder?"

I don't play Mass Effect for the endings. The gameplay in 2 was fun. The characters were entertaining. The music was great. I expect all these to be true of 3 as well. Even if I end up ultimately rating the story as somewhere around Transformers.

Yes, however all future EA games will be pirated, and my money will go to deserving indie devs who don't screw their customers.

I'm one of those disappointed with the ending, but I'll still buy the game since I want to finish the series, though I'll probably only play through it once unless a DLC that improves the endings is released or plaything throguh the game reveals that the endings are actually quite different (very slim hope of that <_<)...

I'm actually sitting on the sidelines snapping up any copies that are cancelled. Gonna have so many CEs.

Sure. The endings they have aren't bad, they just seem to be missing one. And even then, it sounds like you can headconn it.

They still have FTL, Shepard can survive, the crew can survive - just assume that they manage to rescue the Normandy at some point.

I'll wait to get it cheaper or use some of my online vouchers. Can't say I'll play it for the story though, the shooter element definately.

Still not convinced about the leaks, that is just a stupid way to end a trilogy. It MUST have different outcomes.

Plus, the whole staff knows what's going on around here. I think that it's NOT in their best interests getting the endings leaked and spoilered not on a simple forum but their off-****ing-ficial forum, it's just bad for business.

So yeah, i'll buy it. I'll play through it and face the consequences of my actions with a smirk.

Clock is ticking if you have second doubts. Remember, if you don't like the product than dropping extra for it doesn't exactly let Bioware know they messed up this time.

I mean, DAII eventually let Bioware know they messed up after the first week and word got out. But still...

actually i read on another thread that there is one ending for you to be
in LI/VS but Liara is always stuck on "a random planet"

I will absolutely still pick up my preordered CE from gamestop on Midnight...it's been paid off for a month now...

as for the endings the only thing I am worried about is that ME4 will be a PREQUAL. Ienjoyed ODST and REACH, but during both games I already knew that whatever happend it wasn't like there was anything surprising coming up at the end. Nothing I might discover playing the game might lead me to a different conclusion than what I was already expecting.

ME is different because there is a lot to branch out and do until we get to the end. But if ME4 is just a prequal I would be dissapointed.

It's not like we can play as a Krogan in the rebellion, fighting Rachnii and feel the same illusion of freedom to shape events as we felt in ME1 and ME2.

True. Would work if they skip the "role-playing" thing and the "choices" thing altogether and went full shooter instead though Image IPB

How about an option for "I think the ending is fine but I wasn't going to play it anyway."

Yes, but only because I will feel awkward and weird because I preordered it back in August.

...So I will buy it ANGRILY.
