I will absolutely still pick up my preordered CE from gamestop on Midnight...it's been paid off for a month now...

as for the endings the only thing I am worried about is that ME4 will be a PREQUAL. Ienjoyed ODST and REACH, but during both games I already knew that whatever happend it wasn't like there was anything surprising coming up at the end. Nothing I might discover playing the game might lead me to a different conclusion than what I was already expecting.

ME is different because there is a lot to branch out and do until we get to the end. But if ME4 is just a prequal I would be dissapointed.

It's not like we can play as a Krogan in the rebellion, fighting Rachnii and feel the same illusion of freedom to shape events as we felt in ME1 and ME2.

Reach ended my dalliance in the Halo universe. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed ODST with very, very few minor quibbles. However, I don't buy Bungie products anymore. Sure, I paid for Reach, but game companies live long after their games. Even if all of us who are disappointed with ME3 buy the game, when the preorder numbers on EA/BW's next ME installment are lower, they'll get the message.

Nah, my bro is getting it and he hasn't read the leaks. He assumes that there is a happy ending and when I told him all the endings are bad/grimdark he told me that he thinks the players just screwed up to get the best ending.

He's going to be angry when he beats the game.

actually i read on another thread that there is one ending for you to be
in LI/VS but Liara is always stuck on "a random planet"

Liara has plot armor. Aren't they trying to give her a spin-off? Liara and the stranded planet.

Liara will soon learn that having plot armor in ME3 is going to give her an aching back and genitals for the rest of her life.

Ooooh yeah!

I thik about canceling my preorder and just wait a few weeks until it drops to 20$. Or until BioWare anounces an Alternative-Ending-DLC.

Well, I don't really wanna pay full price for it, but I definitely still want to play it. So I'm renting it. Compromise.

Unless I can find a game to keep me occupied for two weeks when I can pick up my copy of SH Downpour and other games after that, then yes I'll still get it simply because I have nothing else better to do. Sad, ain't it?

I'd play Uncharted: Liara's Fortune. First, and only, level is a giant pit that you must jump into. You keep dying.

It took Humanity less time to get into space, start colonizing other worlds, and finding the relay from scratch. In my day Humanity worked for a brighter future not sit around for 100,000 years listening to fairy tales!

So, what you're saying is the galactic civilisations should be up on their feet very quickly? Isn't that the perfect seeting for a future game?

Yes because I want to finish this fight. I want closure that the last two games lead up to this point. I stopped Saren, I fought for the Lost, and now I want to assemble a galactic team in order to show the Reapers that they will end because we demand it.

100,000 years isn't asking them to be back up very quickly. It's asking them to be back up after a 100,000 long years.

No.
We weren't given another choice in making the ending, despite how hard we've worked for the best possible outcomes from ME1-2. At least I have a choice in making the final decision of not purchasing the ME3. It the MOST I can do, thank you BioWare. It will be a complete waste of my time to make another 100+ hours of emotional investment in the story. I think the efforts I've put in the past two games deserves better.

I will do so, only because I have played the other two. But I will probably not make that many playthroughs if there are really only these everything is in scrambles endings.

The preview from IGN is gushing. As well, they say that if you played the first two games, you'll definitely appreciate ME3 that much more.

I think it will be a good game, if we can somehow reconcile the ending.

100,000 years isn't asking them to be back up very quickly. It's asking them to be back up after a 100,000 long years.

Does the game explicitly state that 100000 years have passed?
